I just wanted to update you on the pup Tim Wolfe has out of Dutch and Izzy. Tim sent me a video of his pup, (Batman) last night. The little Bat was really getting after a cage coon, I mean pretty intense. I don't believe he will be 4 months old till the 30th of July. Pretty nice mouth also. Tim is really pumped. He's a bold little rascal too. Just thought you might want to hear some news from this litter. Good luck....Ron

I'd like to congratuate Brett Nally on another win with his Maxy female (Dutch X Sammy) Brett said she has never lost a Night Champion cast, she did't always get the first place, but always won her cast. Pretty Consistent. Needs one more to Grand.

I'm still working out in Texas. It's so hot at home right now it's almost unbearable. Things are going good. Loggerhead is too old to hunt in this heat. He has been laid up and resting. Nail did not get bred at Mr. Jacks house. She is going north to Scott'so house. I dont know what went wrong. Just wasnt meant to be, I suppose. Take care Bill. Good to hear from you.

Just had to share:... I turned loose Moonie ( Dutch and Izzy) and our 2 year old Pitbull, Shiloh, in the yard as usual. We have an acre fenced in, I do not worry. They romp, Play and run till total exhaustion.
I heard Moonie start to howl in the back by the pine trees.. Pretty intense howling. Figured her and Shiloh was playing. After about 10 minutes, I had to go see. I saw them both under the pines, Moonie lighting it up, Shiloh laying there. In-between them both was our pesky Goundhog, Dead as a doornail, about 15 lbs.. They had killed it. Moonie would rush in and grab it, Shiloh would hold it there with her paw. Not sure how much Moonie had to do with killing it, but she showed no fear. 4 months 1 week old..
I like her more everyday....

Jin was bred to Shadow and had 11 pups, looks like she is going to raise 6 of them. Should be some good ones there. I haven't seen them yet, But Jeremy said they were good lookin pups. I think he said she had 5 females and 1 male.

I just wanted to say good job, to Brett Nally, and his Maxy female(Dutch X Sammy) for winning their cast last night at Autumn Oaks, they were hunting NtCh and scored 450 so they didn't have enough to get in, but good job anyway..... James McClary always told me, that a fella can only beat the dogs he's huntin with, not the ones in the other cast....

Bill, Tell Mr. Nally that I said congratulations on his and Maxy's win at AO. Mr. McClary is right. the best you can do is win your cast. Seems like Maxy is winning where ever she goes. I wish Mr. Nally the best with her. I know that it takes those good females doing their part, but congratulations to you and Dutch for your part in getting this type of dog out there.

Well me and Cade took Ol'Dutch, and Duke, Cade's male pup from Dutch and Izzy out Saturday night for the first time in a long time. Dutch treed about 800 yards from where we turned loose, Duke he wanted to go, just didn't have enough yet, first time in the woods ,period, five months old so he didn't do to bad I guess... Dutch must have been so fast he beat the coon to the tree, because we sure couldn't find it! Lol! (AKA) Slick! But I cut him a break bein rusty and all, we decided we would hunt back towards the truck, well I guess Dutch had other ideas, so he made us walk another 700 yards to this tree, real thick oak, maybe the coon was there, maybe not, but I still had a good time with my son, and my dogs, so we headed in.

You may be right Big Dog, He don't miss much! Probably the most accurate dog I've ever hunted with, so I can't fault him much! I'm rusty too, that secound tree might have had 100 in there for all I know. Lol!!

Hey Bill, it is great to hear you & Cade were able to get out & hit it a lick! You all had a great time & got the dogs & humans back to the homestead in one piece! That is what counts!

I wouldn't worry too much about Dutch. As you & I have talked numerous times before, they are just dogs, & subject to have an off night now & again. That ole rascal has made you smile far more often than frown, or he wouldn't still be eating your feed

I remember a night up at Tom Jennings a couple years back hunting with you, Tom, & Herbie. We started out with a bang, & then were reminded they are just dogs. I was glad I left my potlicker at the house that night
