I thought the same thing Rick when I saw it on paper. Very Excited!!!!! You should see how many shots of Rock are in the 5,6,7th gen. My female has Rock a few times not to mention numerous amounts of BOZO. His mouth is Huge. I want to breed him now! However I haven't found the right female other then his half sister Minnie and I wanted to waite till I finished her. Got my fingers crossed that I will find a nice gyp here soon or I may just be tempted when she comes in. lol

Man Tim Tilman has some Rock Bred dogs with Obama and his sisters. His sisters are darn good reproducers. I had one. Was absolutely pleased. I hunt mainly females and its hard for me to keep a male long around here. I Have only owned two that I kept and studed for myself out of 10 crosses. You have to know me to know they had everything. Mouth, looks, intelligence, confirmation. They were the total package.

You got a good thing going for sure. I saw a video of one of those clifton river rock pups knocking the leaves off his first hang up coon and hes just a baby pup. Man he meant business.

Give them a few years and you guys can cross your bloodlines and you will have the strongest concentration of Rock still walking.

If you get the right female bred hit me up. Lets do business. You know I like um small.haha need a shot of beagle in um for me.

tried to send it to you last nite. I have this stupid flip phone. They sold me a dud and now I have to stick it out just a few more months. Ill send um to you on my wifes phone tomorrow.

We won our second Best of Show female tonight. So got her treeing and won another show in just two nites.

So yea I am jacked!! This is a bad mamma jamma. She's gonna be real hard to beat at any level on the bench. I am working her hard to give it a state title shot this year somewhere. Mite even give the UKC world show a shot this year if she continues to improve.
These videos will let you know what kind of tree dog she is making. Had her run the same coon down twice and it weighed about 14-15 lbs. She hit it like a linebacker does a running back both times. she is barely twice that weight. haha
I am afraid she is going to get scarred up before I win a big show with her so I am torn for sure. I enjoy hunting her as much as I do showing her.

She is going to be one of the best reproducers I have seen. Her intelligence level is off the chart.
I taught her to heal without a leash, jump up on my 4-wheeler and turn and sit, jump on the show bench all within a day or so.

We are going for Grand Champion as fast as it can be done. 8 shows is the goal. Thats as quick as it can be done. in between showing at the larger shows as we go. She is a competitor and can sense its time to "Get it on!"When she hits a show. Same way when I turn her loose to go hunting. She will absolutely throw dirt in your face getting gone. All you see is her rearend and flagging tail like a bird dog. She never stops hunting. She can hunt out a set of woods in a minute. Thats exactly what I like.

Hows your Box dogs doing?

You boys with females looking for a stud dog, give doug (north creek}...He and his son have two Lock Box young dogs that are drop dead gorgeous and are tree dogs that are deadly accurate and they are very young both under two I believe. man you got beauty and tree power.

buddies who are always toting a coon dog and they both really liked her tree power and mouth for a little dog.
You just have to see a compact and muscled up little dog is. I mean she is wired and every muscle moves when she takes a step.

She is going to continue to improve in both areas hunting and showing.

saga that's being written. You must have done a good job getting her raised up. She is one loving hound. Man she loves petting worse than a house dog. But she wants to please you. Thats where the great ones all start. You show me a sure nuff legend of a coondog and I believe there was a man somewhere that got out of them what was on the inside because they wanted to please their master. Lock Box is that way.
I saw Keith turn him loose out of the back of a pick up box about 100 feet from a hiway where cars were running bout 60 miles an hour one right after the other.
I thought to myself" Have you lost your ever loving mind?"
I asked Keith real quick "Hey man you gonna turn him out right here?!!"
Yep...he said. he told him to go take care of business and he went and bred my gyp, got through and walked around the park and keith told him to go get in the truck and he did.
thats a valuable stud dog and he is taking that kind of chance? You only do that if you know you have total control of a dog. And he did. Keith lives on a super busy black top road about 100 feet off of it and He lets him out in the yard without a lease. Thats smarts.
Abby is that smart. Thats Dna and that will repeat itself. She will throw a super smart, tight made, compact go younder young dogs that will be for the real sho nuff coonhunter. They will have a whole lot of go and look like a pearl white 57'chevy mint.
There will be some stud dogs off of her.
I cant thank you and doug enough for keeping her on the right path until I got my hands on her. She could have been messed up real easy before I got her. I wouldnt take a chance usually on one over a year old, but I saw something in her eyes and knew I had to have her.
I have been chasing this little hound for nearly a year. I believe God gives us the desires of our heart if we follow him and I tell you He flat had everything to do with me getting her.
Its a flat miracle how she ended up in my pen. Remarkable.
You didnt even know you were part of the plan at the time. haha
you did good on your part bud.
Doug made sure she got into the hands of someone who would push her and I gave him my word I would. Well I think I have kept my word on that one Doug.
Doug's a fine christian man who is a sure nuff mountain man from N.C. He has a couple of boys that hunt it,kill it, skin it.haha
They all hunt hard in the hills that are more than most of us would want to coonhunt every night if you saw the size of those moutains them boys hunt in.
Doug Knows what a coondog is and has a pair of Box soon to be studs that anybody would be proud to own. Man there hasnt been a nite they didnt go that he didnt send me a video and a pic or both with a dead coon in it. Them boys were putting the hurt on some coon. haha
Doug went to the absolute extreme to get Abby into my hands. He drove half way cross the country from me to the east coast and brought her to me. we were going to meet half way, but a road construction stopped us dead for an hour and Doug kept driving and met me way on this side of half way.
I am forever grateful.
We have something special here boys. Doug we will have you some (Abby) pups up in the mountains next spring if the good lord is willing.
We are going full bore on the shows and will hit everyone within a reasonable distance no matter the size, local, state, national.
Win lose or draw she has it in her to compete at any of those levels. Just got to make sure I still have it in me to get it out of her.
She hates a coon bad enough now that we wont have any problem her making a sweet sweet pleasure dog. She is so much fun to hunt. She's my buddy.

Gonna get some professional pics made soon. I'm pretty busy right now, so gonna work it in between trips and shows.

Peep just won her third striaght show with a best female of show at an rqe down in senatobia. Man what a turn out a whole community center on about two acres and it was packed.

Peep did a good job against some very good competition to win it all in the Female division.
She ran a heck of good race a couple night ago and hit that coon on the ground like a pit bull. she is 38 lbs of pure TNT.

Had so many compliments that it was very humbling. Every hunt I have been to in the last two months I have had at least one if not two or three tell me she is the best looking little walker they have seen. That means just as much to me as winning the show because we all know the best dog dont always win in our own eyes. haha But Peep is a competitor in everything she does and does so with not so much as an out of place bark. She is just a happy hound and will do anything I tell her. I believe I can train her to walk up a ladder. Im gonna try that real soon. If I do, Ill get a pic. She is smarter than a cur. I know enough not to brag on any of them, but boys when you see this little dog in action, you will want a pup out of her. Everything she does is wide slam open. Leaves in a dead run and never stops till you put her in the box to go home.

If the Good Lord is willing and these politicains dont get us all killed, I plan on breeding her next spring to either a Lock Box littermate called bullet or a son of his. they are both good looking hounds with good feet and are coondogs. Bullet can throw as good a pup as any stud dog in the country.
That would make it a Uncle/Neice cross on Homer. With bone as a kicker and man what a Kicker. Having Bone and Box and Bullet all in one pedigree is mind blowing. I think these three studs can hold their own with any stud in America and Peep is the real deal.
Wait till you see pics of her whenever I get some posted. She will absolutely blow your mind how gorgeous this little dog is.
And a tree Dog next to non. She been hunted twice with dogs, three or four times by herself and seen a couple caged coons and a couple shot out to her which she fought like a rag doll. The coons have been almost half as big as her. She aint skeered. Im bout fraid to let her in on a barely wounded big coon cause she has no fear. Dont want to scar up that pretty face. haha

Thanks for reading my stuff. I get lots of pms and calls to talk breeding and stud dogs. I enjoy it and appreciate all the friends I have met on here and consider you all friends. I have had two friends I have met on here just give me some nice pups. Not anybodys cull. There are some guys making great crosses on our board and there are some good young coondogs that will make stud dogs if given the chance. I can get you in touch with both.

P.s. I know where a 6 month old gyp pup off of Bullet by a Repete female (brother to Box and Bullet) that is a real sharp looker that is for sale over close to New Albany, Ms that can be bought for 300 bucks. real petite small made gyp just like a bunch of us like.
I would take her in a minute if I wasnt pushing Peep so hard.

Well worth that. Bullet is throwing some outstanding young dogs that start real early and have lots of grit. They are naturals.

Yea I have seen several dogs here lately with old Teq. back there in that 2nd or 3rd generation....so it appears he was a pretty darn good reproducer. You will find several major male dogs with him as their grand dad.

Jake is a typical bred Finley River dog I keep around. He goes back to Finley River Chief 101 times, Finley River Dan 34 times, Finley River Dan III 22 times, Finley River Joe 14 times, Finley River Blue Mountain Lonnie 6 times, and Finley River Zoom 2 times.
He goes back to Trap 5 times. I raised her from a pup and sold her to Tom Wilbers. She was already treeing squirrels long before she was big enough to keep on a tie out. Trap was voted into the SWTWA Hall of Fame in 1995. Dual Ch Durbin's Rambler,former UKC #2 Current Reproducer goes back to Trap. Rambler has PKC dogs that have won about $100,000. Jake has that big roaring mouth like his sire, Zig.

Cripple Creek has produced good hounds and will continue to put a quality pup on the ground.

I am an admirer of you and your kennel as well. You put a lot of time, effort, and Money to back up what you believe in.
I saw that picture of Jake you sent me and he is knock dead good looking. he looks like what a coondog is supposed to look like.

I have a litter that has just been born a few days ago that is out of one of the loudest mouth females in the country that is out of Lock Box/Boots cross and the sire is a direct son of Bone collector by a Gr. nt. ch daughter of Skuna River Fred.
Should have a ton of Skuna River and Homer to please the hard to please accurate hunters.

thats what I like about your hounds as well. the Accuracy and track power you put in the crosses you make.

We are on the same team when it comes to trying to produce the total package from track to tree that we can.
