Went to the BBOA ZONE I Hunt in Clinton, Mo Friday evening, wasn't able to hunt but sure enjoyed seeing everyone. Hopefully when the weather warms up I will be able to go, had a good time and congrats to all the winners..........Tim

Kevin,
Only time will tell, he is the 5th gen of reproducing tree dogs that I have personally hunted with. These dogs produced quick starting natural tree dogs that finished into good pleasure hounds or top competition dogs. I have no reason to feel Cowboy will reproduce any different............Tim

If it is the one that I am thinking of , she needs 1 more win to be a GR NT. Paul also has a young female off Astro and her that will be making a lot of noise in the hunts before long. He calls her Tea-Pot. The Rocky dog that Cam Cooper is putting in the hunts and shows is from the same cross (Astro x Ata-Girl)............Tim

I spectated on ntch cast in Mo. That cowboy was on, he would pick a tree 15 yards from where the other dogs was treed and never check off his tree and have the meat, nice accurate tree dog that will hold pressure, the end result was a ntch win for Cowboy, he comes not by chance but by years of planning and breeding for accurate tree dogs, I expect he will reproduce those same traits.....Gerald

Went to the Marshall Hunt, just to visit. Sat afternoon. Bob Hayworth had his pups sired by Cowboy, they were sure some good looking pups, they were all uniform in comformation with good color. I believe Bob has 1 male left and he is a looker. This was Cowboy's first litter with a couple more due in the next 30 days..........Tim

1..Smokie II's sire was CH NT CH PR Mad Dog Smokie(1978 BBOA National King). Smokie's Dam was CH GR NT CH PR Mad-Dog Lucky
2.Power's sire was GR NT CH PR Mad Dog Jake who was sired by Smokie and his dam was by Hammer IV
3.Beulah was sired by Nt Ch PR Mad Dog Gambler, Gambler', dam was NT CH PR Mad Dog Glo and her sire was Nt Ch PR Mad Dog Blue. Blue was around in the early 60's
4.Scratch,Pee Wee and Bannie were all owned by my brother Paul. Paul did not competition hunt for about 6 yrs when he owned these dogs. They were nice hounds.
