Troy, this is a video from early this morning of Briar who is off 2 again, ZEB. He is a fine young hound of 11 months that I really like a lot. This morning Briar and my other young hound BO trailed one into a bad area of the swamp and treed up a big oak. After I got in there and hooked BO back the coon slipped out to Briar and got to meet one another for a few seconds then the coon went up this small tree. He tried to get belly up on it as that's the way he trees but the tree was so small he kept slipping off so he settled back and just spit them out. He looked real good on that track and tree and I'm proud of this big pup. Wendell and Tom thanks for the compliments on his looks but all the thanks goes to Troy, Zeb and Dizzie Dot. I think Briar is going to finish out to be a well balanced hound over the next year. Click on picture to see video of a 2 again pup. Take Care and Good Hunting!

he's the loudest hound in the cyber woods!!!.

He has a above average bawl mouth and will chop some on tree, 90-95% bawl mouth with the smooth tenor tone with the right amount of boom to sound good...........does that make since? I like it and I will get rid of dogs if I cant hear them a mile

turned 2 in march. should be farther along (or more consistent) but was laid up for about a year with VERY LIMITED hunting do to building a house (tornado). At 10 months I thought I had something rare and special but not so sure now. He is getting hunted again and can look really good and really bad...........mostly bad lol. the tools are there and the dog has a arsenal of them from what I have seen but he also has some bad faults such as, he will not back another dog period and he can chew to much on certain trees.

to the top.............several years ago when Bullet II was a 2-3 year old dog I made the remark he would be a historical top reproducer. This Zeb dog of Troys is reproducing the right kind to get on the reproducers list also if the folks will take them to town. He is also reproducing reproducers and that is what it takes to be a truly great stud dog. give Troy a call and book your females
