Lady treed split last night with the coon. This was her first coon by herself at night. Smokey was working a track the other way and got treed over a quarter mile away. He had a coon too.

Vet said it's hard to tell exact numbers through ultrasound with pups tangled together but was pretty sure he saw at least 6 different heartbeats. Pregnancy confirmed! Only question now is how many.

I took my Smokey pup hunting last night for the second time ever. Definitely ready to start her in the woods and hunt her hard. She ran and treed a coon with another dog again last night. Only hunted one drop and they had the coon. Took her once before and she did the same thing. Most natural pup I have ever trained. Smokey is reproducing from what I have seen in my kennel. My pup is off Smokey and a Tige female.
