i know your right tim i got janie up there now at brians to get bred to astro shes due any day now to come into heat. i think with her looks and her hard treeing action and astos looks and drive to hunt and his ability to drift a track like hes got those 2 should throw looks and most of all hunting the drive to tree coon. shes been doing really good the last i hunted her down here she got by herself and treed with the meat and then she treed 1 up there last week cameron has a really nice pup out of astro for sure

If you have a good femail you can't go wrong breeding to astro I have a mail pup out of astro who is 16 months old he started early started going with the older dogs at six months LD which is when I first got him split treed forms astro at 8 months and had the meet and been able to hunt all by his self since 11 months old pups out of astro have brains

Brian Pearson owns both Astro and Ranger, he has females booked to be bred to each. Both of these dogs are COON DOGS and should be checked out before a person makes his final decision on who to breed to........Tim

Brian has only been able to hunt Astro in 3 hunts since he bought him (has been working weekends), he has two NT CH wins now. If Brian is able to put him in the hunts he should finish him this fall. Ranger is already a Dual Grand...........Tim

Gerald Everett, Arkansas, (Mad Dog South Central) just bought GR CH NT CH PR Mad Dog Hey Jude(2008 BBOA National Hunt Queen) and brought her up to see Astro (not quite ready), this cross should produce dogs with plenty of get up and go that will get hooked and stay, have plenty of looks with outstanding mouths. Keep an eye on these pups...........Tim

Brian calls her Dolly and she is ready to put in the woods, Dean Ring has a littermate female, that he calls Jewell, that will flat light up a tree and is not afraid to get by herself and stay hooked..........Tim

Rooster's sire was CH GR NT CH PR Mad Dog Blue Smoke II, His sire was CH NT CH PR Mad Dog Blue Smoke, and his dame was CH GR NT CH PR Mad Dog Lucky. Roosters mother was from Jack Leathermans Ozark bred hounds.

I can't remember ole Preachers ped, I do know that it is a lot of old Mad Dog blood, I will post it when I run across it again..........Tim

Tim thanks I'm just trying to fix my little gype up with the right studs in the future.
Charlie and I own a fine 7 month old female that is gonna get the job done in the hunts in the near future, hope real soon. She is going to make a very nice female, I've never owned one that acts like her and did I forget to mention been treeing coon scent since she was 10 weeks old. I love her, and I cant say that about too many bluedogs, as she is the only one I own. She gives out one good long bawl locate kinda like Roxanne and chops her head off like my old rooster dog, and trees like old Jasper, pounces on her feet, she nice.
