.

I like the new Delta system and the smaller receiver/shocker. It has limited range 3/4 mile but that works for me. I have looked into it with the 50.

Only thing is the 50 is on a one inch strap and delta on 3/4 inch strap. Might change the whole thing to 3/4 and try it out.

Also I would like to clear up one wrong statement that may be going around about the DC 50/320 combo. I read and may have repeated incorrectly that the 320 once updated with track another 320 like the Alpha will. This is wrong as it will not track another 320, just DC 50 collars.

Global Navigation Satellite System

Will the Alpha collars be able to be programed so that they to can use the additional 28 satellites like the new 50 or is another Alpha collar coming out???....like some time soon... yr or by Oaks? I mean the Alpha is getting a little age on it.

I haven't heard any plans on updating the alpha system yet.

I was told "you got a 40 that's good enough you don't need a 50." Some one asked me "who told you that?" I said "THAT WOULD BE MY WIFE!" LOL!

Glad to see that Gamin's DC50 went back to the GPS Satellite antenna back on the collar instead of inside of the collar like the DC40. The DC 40 lost reception because the Satellite Ant. would be blocked if the dog held his head at a certain angle.
