That is about all I can say about last night. It started out with freezing rain. All of the trees and vegetation was covered with ice. The center of the dirt roads was o.k., but you didn't want to step to the side.

I about took a header a couple of times. We did manage to tree some coon, but the tracks got worse as it rained harder. I was soaking wet by 10:30 pm.

Weather man is forecasting another cold spell. Who else is heading out tonight????

How did it go? I hunted hard, but we had 3 drops without a strike. I had to catch the dog as she was hitting the road, and she was hunting through some good country.

hey Jim if you got room count me in for sat. dont know if marlin will hunt ill drive . we hunted last night we treed alot lost count took home 10 one small kitten coon killed on the ground .my 15 month old red dog is shining split treeing independent put alot of time in him larry what road were you on went to hunt a spot over by marlin some one beat us to it so we went else were but maid me think maybe when you said you were over that way still need to meet up some time my wife would like to go to that banquit in feb,

sounds good better for me to. maybe will have better weather then to i deer hunted over there with a friend just so i could scout for coon lol

I was out Friday night made one drop in a woods with standing corn on one side and a creek on the other with lots of den trees in it. boy it was cold but managed to tree 7 shot out 5 mature coon and was home by 8:00. I was impressed with the activity!!

Treed 2 last night with Hillbilly bred males.18 degrees and snow blowing. Out a hour and back home.
