Tri-State event 5/22 Hedgesville, WV

We're heading to Hedgesville, WV tomorrow for the Tri-State Coonhound event......I'm planning on bringing at least 5 of the pups to "show-em off" ..............Heck, I might just bring-em all....LOL !!!!!

if PA state wasnt the same day id come play!!

unfortunately my basset was just diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease - so right now "just one more" is looking like a LOT with the threat of expensive back surgery...

Steve I would love to breed this english female to hammer or frosty in the future. She is the one we talked bout with 27 shots of true boy in her 7 gen ped. Wow frosty and reese has really growed since last fall!

AT THE TRI-STATE EVENT TODAY.....

Here's a few pics at the coonhound event today......
I'm a little partial to the looong eared hounds......not sure why ? LOL !!! Lots of kids got to play with the pups......Plenty "puppy breath" to go around.....

My 2 oldest "future" handlers......with "Chubbs"

This reminded me of the first time I held a Majestic in my arms....It is really something magical....

How could that NOT cheer someone up?! Oh my goodness keep the photos coming - they are all too cute!! Daisy looked away in disgust - she says no more puppies, but thanks you for your well wishes

she went back to the vets this morning to have her reflexes checked, and is righting her back feet again when the vet sets them over onto their knuckles - slowly, but she can feel them, which is a Very Good Sign!!

I LOVE Jayco, too - what a neat color!

Just to brag alittle on one of our Pups, Here is a New's Story on a Full Sister to Ally .. Her name happens to be "Sister" She is owned by Mary Davenport and Mary has done a Great Job with Sister and has put her in every Training opp. She can.. Sister has con't to Surpass any task put in front of her..

This is a great video. I know I started Sheba, Roman's Majestic in Search and Rescue and it blew them away. She ran every task they asked her to do in the starting stages like a pro. My son will not let me hunt her so I thought that was a good route to go. Unfortuantely I enjoyed hunting more so I had to choose plus she would not keep the required weight on her because she is too houndy. I wish he would let me hunt her cuz she has a hell of a nose and a bone chilling bawl that is so beautiful it should be in a song. I wish I could give more time to Search and Rescue. These hounds certainly have the nose for it plus the drive.

That's a great video........You know I use Ally pretty much exclusively on recovering wild game.....I bet if you put those 2 sisters working on a track together, ain't nuthin getting away !!!

My kids sing Blake Sheltons song "Ol Red", and they say that sounds like their Ally girl........puts a smile on my face.....

I wish

I knew how to train for search and rescue! I would love to rain belle for it. I think she would be a pro at it. She loves people and has a heck of a nose on her. Just dont know enough about it to try I guess. May have to send her off to have her trained.

A few days away from 7 weeks old......Gosh, I never thought it would be so hard to let-em go !!!!

Man they are growin up fast. I get rid of all but one of mine next week. Gonna be sorry they are gone but at least they will be goin to better homes and hopefully gettin a chance to prove themselves!

Hey Steve,
We talked to Adam and he said Aggie is not in heat yet. They have been watching her. He did say she treed a 150 lb bear the other day behind his workshop. He said she was going off and had it bayed and then put it up the tree. Crazy girl. I miss her. I guess that is why I was so crazy over Cotton. He had his momma's personality.

Do you think Queen is pregnant? If you want I could go ahead and get Aggie and bring her to your house so when she comes in heat she is there.....hmmm. I know Adam and his dad have grown very fond of her but who wouldn't love Aggie.
