Shannon i have hunted B&T, Bluetic, Walker , haven;t been much on redbones, sorry guys. i have mostly had grade dogs that done good for me. I hunted in hunts when the hunts where 3 hours and as many grade dogs were hunted as reguirsted. I do kind of lean to walkers though. Lets see how all the breeds do at AO. probley the one with the fatest pocket book. PS if i;m not careful i;ll tell my age.------see ya;ll

It's FRIDAY! For me it's work night now since I'll be going to Mum's again in the am... Does feel good to be doing a bit of work and of course helping her. THIS week I plan to take it a BIT easier on my old body!

You all can send those 3 red pups here! I'll take em all LOL... But they'd be wasted here...SIGH... someday we'll get to hunt one again!

IT was a nice day here. Got near 90 but was a nice lil breeze making it nice. Didn't even turn on the ac. Posed to be nice the next few days if I recall.
Monday Bob will be taking Dylan off to his freshman yr at Fitchburg State Univ. Brandon will be going there as a senior....not sure what day yet...since he hasn't yet gotten an apartment.... lol... DIMWIT! I will avoid the stress!

Good morning !!! I think the high today will be 95 or so ..

The kids and i made it to the lake house last night .. We didn't get here until 11:30 .. We stop by to see dad before coming up.. When I pulled up at dads I saw Lindz chasing a goose around in the field .. Some stupid person had shot the poor thing while flying over head and he landed belly first at dads .. Lindz and dad caught him .... Christian ran the other way when he was helping after the thing hissed and started chasing him ... Hahahahahaha ... Good ol dad and Lindz got the job done .........dad ...( being a bird dr) will fix the poor bird up and let it go ...it's wing was broken ...

Just love being here at the lake house ... With the children !! It's puts a smile on your face to sit back and just watch your children in the things they do... and see how much you've taught them as they turn into adults in front of your eyes ...

Guess I'll head down to the dock with a cup of coffee and watch the water for a little bit .. Before these kids all wake up .. (you know they sleep late ... But Christian ..up at the crack of daylight )

Oh boy goose season it came in here today and they make a pretty good jerky. I am waiting till noon then it will be dove shooting time. It going to feel good to pull the trigger again. Yall have fun.

Hello everyone. You guys and ladies sure have had a bunch of fun on here the last few days!

I hope everyone is enjoying the Labor Day weekend. It was in the middle 80's here today. Our goose, dove and squirrel season opened today. I took the neighbor kid this morning and we shot 4 geese. I tried to post pics but I must be doing something wrong. I got pretty frustrated and gave up.

bb - I loved the pictures of JR. He sure is a nice looking pup.

Corky - I am glad you are feeling better.

Shannon - I enjoyed the Anna video, she was a doll. I hope you and your family have a good weekend at the beach house.

dlinkous - I enjoyed the picture of the water with the mountain in the background. Very pretty.

Dan - I liked the moon picture.

well today was a good day our group killed between 100 and 120 doves. Its to hot to bow hunt this time of the year our bow season comes in in oct.

Hi everyone! Interesting weekend here so far...LOL...
Sat I worked HARD at mums and had a great visit as well with her! TOok apart and cleaned out her OLD dishwasher and there was a good build up on gross Gunk... so I was dying to get home and shower...and I did and it felt SO AWESOME! Sat down to watch tv.... at one point Daisy, the lil cur dawg, went out barking ferociously.... came running inside and leaped up on sofa, dug her snout in the cushions... I thought she had a rat??? THEN..... as she rubbed her eyes and nose and mouth all over the ODOR came.... She had grabbed ANOTHER darned skunk outside! She reeked, the house reeks... We all reek! lol... I HAD been intending to visit you all on here but... the clean up took too long and we were TIRED out too! DUMB dawg likes skunk. SHe did NOT feel well though. And Webster???? He came inside and was drooling and foaming and barfing and we were SURE he had gotten a taste... BUT... he had NO odor at all... I think he was nervous seeing Daisy so upset AND with the strong smell.... it got to him? lol... Dawgs....
This morning Daisy wouldn't go out until I went out first and made sure no skunks were there! lol... I'm sure she'll forget again. She will be going to the groomers in the morning for a Big Bath and we'll deskunk her again when she gets home...LOL...
Today was a turnaround for our luck. On Bobs walk yesterday he saw a yard sale...but nothing we wanted for real cheap. Today he went by and the leftovers were FREE! We got a BIG table to refinish and repair, some nice colored glass for my collection, vases, candle holders, a frame, a mirror, tons of hooks to hang planters and things and more! All free! Then I told Bob I felt like buying scratch tix... which I VERY rarely do... We picked some weird ones out online and he looked at the weather and felt he could buzz out on the bike before the country store closed (just enough time)... SO he left on the bike, I went in to feed the dawgs and.... the Heavens Opened! I mean... IT POURED for about... the length of his ride! LOL! Told him when he got back we'd HAVE to win since his luck was so bad...LOL... We won $29.00! YAY! lol...
Then Bob made a nice batch of his fresh pesto with lots of garlic and we ate a YUMMY dinner!
Tomorrow the kids leave for college... 2 seperate trips to the same school... Bob wants Dylan... who is a freshman to TOTALLY enjoy his experience and not have his grumpy senior bro. along. Brandon JUST found an apartment....TODAY! lol... and will go sign a lease and move in tomorrow...JUST in time... Kids.....
SO, that is wassup here. I'm sure I forgot tons... but I think I bored you all enough...
