I'm gonna do a little bragging on Mr. Tim today. I've always felt that a person should be thankful and give credit where credit is due, so I'm gonna do just that.
After being in the coonhound business for many years myself, I have in my own mind determined what the definition of a breeder and stud dog owner should be:
1. Does he actually have a stud dog that is worthy of being called a stud dog depending on pedigree, natural hunting ability, and heart.
2. Does he ensure that your females pedigree will indeed match with his studs
3. Does he take care by housing your female and make you as the owner feel comfortable at leaving her in his hands
4. Does he do everything possible to get your female bred and hand her back to you bred and healthy
5. Does he go out of his way to make sure the pups find new owners quickly
The above matches the description of Tim Osborne perfectly and is why he is and will be one of if not the most professional stud dog owners and breeders in this industry.
Had I known what I know now, all of my females would be taken to him, and I ensure you that my future females will be took to him also.
Now I'm not saying my Homie dog is the prodigal son of Bean by any means, but he sure is a fine credit and reflection of him.
My plans are to put working on Homies grand nite title on hold this year, and for his primary goal is for him to be the best dog possible for the world hunt this year. I believe keeping him out of the hunts, and working with him one on one til September is the best thing I can do to ensure that.
Give Mr. Tim a call gentlemen, he is in my opinion one of the last true stud dog owners we have left.
I get so freakin tired of seeing all these knot heads who own a grand nite champion male, and consider thereselves to be a "stud dog owner". Lol
