Tim,
Hope to make it down we will have to wait and see.

Just got back from vet. Some high school boys took Abby out hunting and after they shot the coon down they went to shoot it again on the ground and Abby got loose from the other and she darted in and got shot in the head. The bullet went through her sinus cavity just below both eyes and exited through the lower right side knocking out several teeth but not fracturing the jaw. She was walking fine and continued to fight the coon after the shot. The vet said she was lucky. She is being kept over night for fluids and to check for shock.

I will post more tomorrow when I find out more from the vet.

Had a tough time getting one on the outside, turned Ranger and Lady loose in 6 ditches, had 2 field tiles, 1 dozer pile, 2 den trees and 1 single coon. It was light as day and the coon were not far from home. It is suppose to cloud up tomorrow night with some rain, should be a better night............Tim

Went to the Altoona, Ks hunt Sat night, didn't do any good. Went hunting after the hunt with Markus Leck, Jeff Dean, Gene Minor and another gentleman that I didn't catch his name, we turned loose twice and treed some coon. Markus was hunting a young male that he had just picked up and he looked pretty good, Jeff had a pup out of Mose and Wendy that it was his first time to the woods and he looked real good, fought a coon and treed some before we shot the coon out and really treed good on the hang up. I believe both of these young dogs will make it..........Tim

Talked to brian Hutchinson today and he was telling me how well his Turrk x 911 female was doing. She has been split treeing and picking trees ahead of the old dogs. He plans on having her at the bunk House Hunt to show her off.........Tim

The two I have raised (outa 2 diff. mamas) both started by the time they were 6 months, smart, trash free, deadly accurate, loud mouths, good looking, quiet around the kennel.......Lord willing Katie (3) should finish out in the hunts this spring and Lil' Joker should be ready for the hunts soon if the weather holds up for us and he is only 8 months old now! Neither one can be bought....... That about somes it up!!!!

Tim,

Looks like I am going to miss out again. Abby is starting to milk and since Heather pupped a week ago Abby is due this weekend. I figure I better stay close to home since she got shot. She is still bleeding from her nose adn I don't want any problems. She is not big so maybe 2 or 3 but who knows.

Been treeing a load of coon with Kent Black "AKA Smoke on here". Easy and Peanut were ready to show off a little to some of the guys too.

Good luck and tell everyone HI for me and sorry again I will be missing out. I will let you know when she pups or if.
