I HAD TWO DOGS OUT OF THIS LITTER THE FEMALE HAD THE BEST MOUTH ON A FEMALE THAT I HAVE HEARD IT WOULD HURT YOUR EARS TO TAKE HER OF THE TREE,JUST A NATURAL GOT KILLED ON THE ROAD AT 14 MONTHS I HAVE NOT FOUND A FEMALE LIKE HER YET!!!
THE SECOND ONE WAS THE MALE I SOLD TO JODY HE GOT HIT ON THE ROAD WHILE HUNTING I THINK THAT SARAH AND SMOKE ARE THE ONLY DOGS LEFT OUT OF THAT LITTER I WISH THIS CROSS WAS MADE MORE THEN ONCE.--------------HUTCH

Had a good hunt with Big Brother last night, we turned loose 4 times 3 singles and a big ole oak that could have had one. Ranger and Big Boy looked good.........Tim

I've been out of the loop for the last week working a lot of overtime. Kansas running season is closed now untill the 17th but the pups did manage to get loose and I had to go find them!!!!!haha
They treed about 1/4 from the house so all I had to do was make a short circle and was back to the house by 8:30.
They had a kitten in a big oak and the old sow was in a tree about 15yrds over.
Have to watch it because I have a game warden that lives just 2miles down the road.
They looked good and I'm getting the itch bad.

Roy, the running season was only closed to two days before you broke a Kansas Wildlife Code. This doesn't look good for the younger hunters that use you as a mentor. You have 13 days left that the hounds need to be left in the kennel. Where will we need to send money to get you out of jail?

I figured you must have forgot to latch the gate on the kennel. You also forgot to take the tracking collar off the dog. I know the hound had been getting out of it's pen and you just keep the tracker on to find the dog. Had that happen to me last night.

Had a good hunt last night at Coal Camp, Mo. We scored on 7 singles, the most dogs that were on any tree was 2. It came down to the last tree where Ranger had second strike and 1st tree and the Walker had 1st and 1st, the dogs were split about 20 ft and both had coon, I lost the cast on a tie breaker. Don't mind loosing a cast when the dogs are working good and I get beat by a dog, not a handler..........Tim

Talked to Dwayne Wood about his pups from John II and Jill(Jill just finished to Nt Ch with 2 first place wins). Dwayne says that his pups are running and treeing and split treeing, they were quick starting "NATURALS". I was at a hunt a couple weeks ago in Dwayne's area and it was the talk of the local hunter about how those pups would get treed and had good mouths, not bad for 6 mos old........Tim

John II has been crossing well on Jet, Smokey River,Hammer,Uchtman,Mailes,Mad Dog and many others. He is throwing tree dogs that start at a very early age and finish to the type of dogs that can compete in the hunts or just tree coon for the pleasure hunters. He has produced a Dual Grand, Dual CHs, NT CHs,GR CHs and CHs and many future champions that are still pups. We feel that he will have a positive impact on the Blueticks of the future. We like him! We like his pups! We hunt what we like!............Tim

Mike Hurts GR NT CH Lucy female has just been bred to GR NT John II (Lucy is sired by Mose). From everything that I hear Lucy is one of the top females in the country. This cross should make some outstanding tree dogs that get down the holler quick.

Hopefully we can get Mike to post her 3 gen ped on here......Tim

Went hunting with Troy Young and Gene Minor (Kansas) last night, have had better hunts but managed to see some fur. Coon were not moving very well and the dogs had to get deep. Genes Joe dog, 9 mos old sure looked good stretched out on the side of a tree.........Tim

This is our JokerXMindy pup. He is running and treeing with the old dogs and has split treed twice so far.......Not bad for 7 months old. I think we'll feed him for a while yet. He might just make a coon dog. Hope all is well with you and big brother...............Jon

No snow but plenty of wind that makes it down right cold.....Probably gunna take tonight off too. Just not worth loosing a dog. And its not as fun if ya cant hear em run anyway. Katie and Joker (Both out of GRNT Mad Dog Anti Up Joker) could use a few nights off anyway. They have had the hair run off em lately. We usually aren't "numbers guys" but the freezer is getting full. Shot one this week that went 38 pounds. Sucker was as big as Joker!!!..............Jon

Tim it sure would be nice to tree some of those northern giants wouldn't it.

Looks good Jon. I will be having a litter out of Joker in two weeks. he female is rambo bred and she is big as a barrell.

Still can't tell if Dual Grand Abby is going to pup. She is due dec 6 out of Turk. Hope she does we missed last time and I am getting excited to have my turk pup!

Got a 2nd on Easy last night. Now has a 1st and 2nd just need another cast win but will probably have to wait till next spring. Both Ty's peanut and easy have been making coon treeing look easy. Been hunting with Kent Black and his Buck dog. Been treeing a freezer full also. May have to sell some for room.

Opening night treed ten by ten and saw about 20 others sitting up. Has been like that every night. Very few tracks and coon sittng every where. Not sure if we have tracks dogs but lay ups are working well!

Sounds like you guys are tearing up the woods with those blues, our season opens tomorrow and I plan on putting the dogs in the woods then.

Hope you guys can come down to the Bunkhouse Hunt, it will be a good time and some great fellowship with hunters from several states.

My Hillbilly Millie female just had pups today sired by Turk, it looks like she has 9 or 10, I won't bother them for a couple days. The last cross produced quick starting treedogs that have looks and mouths..........Tim
