The time to prepare is now, in this life. " Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." ( 2 Corinthians 6:2) Once the rich man died and was in torment, it was too late for him to prepare. (Luke 16:19-31). Preparation must be made while one has opportunity. ( Matthew 25: 1-13)

Salvation does not just happen. One must prepare, and one must prepare accordingly to the why, the how, and the when that God has put forth.

I GOT UP THIS MORNIN AROUND DAYLIGHT GOT SOME COFFEE AND WENT OUT AND SET ON THE DECK THE BIRDS STARTED SINGIN IT WAS NICE TO LISTEN TO,THEN THE COWS ,THE CHICKENS, PIGS,AND EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE RIVER BOTTOM STARTED COMING TO LIFE.ACROSS THE FIELD I SAW A FLOCK OF GEESE THATS BEEN HERE ALL SUMMER ,I REMEMBER WHEN THEY WERE JUST YELLOW FUZZ BALLS AND COULDNT EVEN FLY NOW THEY ARE GROWN HONKIN REAL LOUD,,,,GOD GIVES US EACH AND EVERYTHING THATS IN OUR LIVES AS I SAT THERE SAYIN MY MORNIN PRAYERS ,A PERSON DOESNT REALLY REALIZE HOW MUCH GOD DOES GIVE US ,HES AWSOME THEN I HEARD A LITTLE VOICE SAY,,, HEY PAPA,IT WAS MY GRANDAUGHTER COMEIN OUT THE BACK DOOR ,SHES 20 MONTHS OLD,I PICKED HER UP GAVE HER A HUG AND A KISS ,,SHE SAID I LOVE YOU PAPA,,,AND THATS JUST ONE MORE THING THE THE GOOD LORD ABOVE HAS GIVEN ME AND THAT IS ONE THING THAT LETS ME KNOW IM A RICH MAN IM RICH IN THE GOOD THINGS THAT GOD HAS GIVEN ME,,BILL GATES AND DONALD TRUMP,, DOES NOT HAVE WHAT I HAVE ,I HAVE FAMILY,YOU FRIENDS AND A OLE HOUND DOG AND MOST OF ALL ,GOD IN MY LIFE TO HELP ME THROUGH,,,SEE YA AT CHURCH,,GOD LOVES YAS ,WE LOVE YAS ,HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY,YOUR FRIEND IN CHRIST,RON

I was blessed last night to teach/preach to 40 children and 8 or so adults at a youth camp for children who are Christians, but also to kids who were not. We talked about the Full Armor of God. I thank God for the Helmet of Salvation that he has given us, along with the rest of the armor.

That armor is no good unless it is all used together. If you are wearing your breastplate of righteousness, but not your belt of truth, or your sheild of faith, or any of the other armament that has been provided, we are open to attack.

Last nut not least, in the armor, even though it is not armor at all, is the prayer and supplication. These two vital ingredients are the communication that is essential to any soldier.


Keep the lines of communication open between you and God.

Ephesians 6:10-18

It was quite a plan!
The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians
everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there.
Having little time for their God or their families.
Having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change
lives.
I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his
schemes?

Thank God for every single day and everything in it. Because it is through Him that you are alive and well and can enjoy another day with your family and friends. Thank God for everything you have, because it is through Him that you have it. God has given you everything you have in life, so thank the Lord above and stop complaining about what you don't have.

I want so very much to have a job, but so far, nothing has happened. I still pray everyday and every night for a job. Yes I get frustrated about it, but I keep telling myself that God has something else planned for me and that I have to have faith in Him to lead me in the direction He wants me to go. I am in EMT class right now, trying to educate myself, maybe this isn't what He has planned for me either, but so far, it is working out well for me. No conflicts or anything. I have 6 job applications out for work I would enjoy doing and think I would like, but so far, no calls. So I have placed it in His hands and will let him guide me.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to be telling all this, but it helps me to reinforce that God is the way, the truth and the light. I want everyone to know this and trust and believe in Him.

Good always over powers evil!

Just thought I'd post these for some food for thought. We have all read them and heard them many times, but everytime I read them again, I can think of more ways that I am not following them.

The Ten Commandments
Exodus 20:1-17(LXX)
And the Lord spoke all these words, saying: I am the Lord thy God, who brought
