The first tree which was the Dude, he treed for over an hour, alone. Got there, searched the hole tree, didnt see anything and was kinda dissapointed until jeff pointed out a hole at the bottom. Used the old wiseman trick with the camera to check it out.

Guess that will teach me to doubt him huh?
Second tree, Patch with the meat hangin on a dead elm.

Third tree, Dottie with the meat up a pine tree on the the oposite side of the gorge. Did a dang nice job too!



It was a fun night and not to bad of a night of huntin, weather considerin of course! Another good night with our fello hunters from the east. Definately welcome back anytime! Thanks for comin and takin some of our gene-pool to the eastern coridoor. Enjoy, I know I am mine! Was good chattin with ya aswell! Till Next time!

A few pics I had on the camera from a night me and the woman took duke out huntin as the snow was fallin quite heavily! Had a blast and treed a couple easy ones! Heres a couple pics! Along with one or 2 of the newest member of the family, TAZ!

Well of course! They cant ever be a house dog AND a coondog! It just aint possible, they will never be focusEd enough to be a lagit coon treein machine! Just dont know wut I shall ever do I guess! Might aswell sell em all, aiNT none of them gonna be any good the way I understand it!

I used to come home from work all the time and my wife would have my old Jones dog inside. He'd be curled up on the couch dead to the world. Brummy isn't convinced he's allowed inside. I tried to let him in Sunday and he wasn't too interested. I think raising them inside is one of the best things in the world you can do for them. If it ruins them then you didn't have much of a dog to begin with.

Jeff, I sure would like to make it out east sometime and do some huntin at least to say I did! It was a good layed back night of huntin, and showed wut real dogs can do when they tree coon split that many ways in that kind of weather! Ill bet there was a heck of alot of coonhunters sittin at home on the Web that night bc it was "too crappy out to tree coon that night"! We enjoyed havin ya, and it was a good time just standin around shootin the breeze on the snow-covered mountainside like we known eachother for years! Crazy how we the human end have that automatic ability just like those dang blur dawgs we throw biscuits to can just the same! But thats prolly BC they r just worthless housedawgs I suppose!......

Congratulations to Colton and now, CH 'PR' PATCH'S TREEIN BLU BILLY JOE..... "BJ" won BOS at the TW sectional in Elizabeth, Ill yesterday. BJ had 3 bos and a class and breed win finishing to CH in 4 events. Also, last night in his first ever Nite Hunt, BJ was the last dog standing and just needed to tree a coon for a CW, but wasn't able to make it happen.

He did split 75 yards away & have one alone just lost'um before hand.
