Joy and Asa sound like a strong team Larry. Good Luck to You/Asa and all the other english hounds headed out to the zones. You and Asa have set the bar high, and you both have my respect for being there every year doing it the hard way. You breed what you hunt & hunt what you breed. That (to me) is the greatest accomplishment, winning BIG with what you have bred over the years. Again Good Luck!! Maybe, just maybe, I'll see you both at the finals, as I'm heading to Pa. to hunt that zone this year, LOL.

This Old Coonhunter....Last night with good friend Paul we loaded Son Of A Gun and headed north to Asa Briggs for a coonhunt and thats what we had..After looking the dogs over we loaded Son and a young female Jill off J-Lee & Jackie and 2013 Reserve Wld Ch Main St Ruby AND (Main St Jack) 4 hrs later, 13 coons and I don't know how many trees we returned to Asa's said our good buys and headed home...Cant' help to think man this is what coonhunting is all about....This Old Coonhunter.......................Oh and Asa still think that window fogging was from the hot air in the back seat...

Good morning Michael, Season opened here last night 1201am...David took BJ and Ruby2 treed 3 then came over and we rigged 2 more late (working 2nd shift) with Smoke and Ruby 2....She is out of Gun/Ruby and she is going to make a top hound great locate and pressure tree dog,,,,,Think this Gun/Ruby cross is something special all tree dogs.....Enjoy this fall....Larry

Asa said you all had a super hunt...couldn't imagine you not having one with dog power and coon you all have! My Gun x Mouse female is a dandy, smart as a whip! I let her run anywhere from 30mins to 2-3hrs depending on what I'm doing out around the yard. She knows her name and is after everything that moves Got her all paid up and got all the paper work back today, can't wait till next spring so I can take her for a test drive

Travis, Got the two pups from Bud and Asa wanted a Mouse pup so anything he wants I'll help him in anyway I can...Got a super nice Gun x Prizy pup here and will have a Gun x Joy pup soon and just can't keep them all anymore....Asa has 4 times the hunting up there that I have and really enjoy going north when ever I can. I have 1/2 interest in a Gun x Ruby female that is just a natural when she locates its over...But still kick myself for not getting a male from that cross.....
