The way I figure it, if you run them the long way, six feet, and put two side by side, it will take twelve to make thirty six feet and you will have two feet on both ends left over and one foot left on both sides for each forty foot run. If you run them the short way, four feet, it will take ten to make forty feet, and you will have two feet on each side left over and nothing left over on the ends. Can these mats be cut? Either way You will have to figure extra for that if you want to cover the whole floor. That's my thinking anyway.
