wtf???
What in the world has happend to this thread in the past few days??? I get on here to post a video and I see all this mess? Chris your right buddy, it is very hard owning a blue male stud dog these days... In the short time I was trying to promote Pride, That was alot of headache and frusteration. Hats off to You, Clyde, and all the other stud dog owners who have been blessed with the ability to let stuff roll off your shoulders. lol.
and to the fella with no name, location, or email address. Let me just help you in the right direction on the matter of what Brummy has done for the breed, ok?
Brummy has proved himself to be more that "just another track grubbing bluetick". He has all the tools to make him a super dangerous hound in these hunts we have... One being he gets to himself alot. Another, his track speed. Another, his consistency. Sure, there are alot of stud dogs out there that may have some of the same traits as Brummy. But I can promise you this, not many dogs out there take advantage of said traits like Brummy does. From what I've seen, I would define Brummy as this... A well rounded consistent cast winning coon hound.. Thats a mouth full aint it? But its the truth. I mean how many other blueticks win 8 out of 11 casts in a single run...? Not many other breeds of dog do either.. Brummy made the top 100 of the world this year. Isnt that statement enough he has left a mark?? From what I heard when we were at the world... There were 5000 original entries in the rqe's. from those 5000, 550 made it to the zones, and of those 550, you get the top 100.. so on and so forth. So you do the math, sir. As far as his pups go.. I can tell you this much, the couple I have hunted with have been real similar to their pops. He seems to be throwing big hunting dogs that dont mind getting treed. Shoot I bred my female to him.. she had 10 pups, raised 9, and from the last I heard 8 of the 9 are treeing off scent and scent alone. they are also not quite four months old yet. The video below is the Female I decided to keep. I like her alot.... there are alot of pups on the ground or about to be born.. Id say by this time next year there will be alot of pups showing up in the hunts, and a few that have already finished to NtCh and or GrNtCh... And I dont mean any disrespect by saying this Mr.Bluedog31513, but maybe you should suit up and hit the woods with ol' Brum? Then maybe you can see what everybody is talking about...
