Last night we took Zeke out for a quick run ... he struck track but I think it was an early feeder track that was just to tough for him. After it was apparent that he wasnt going to get it straightened out, we just called him in and called it a night.

Had Zeke out again tonight solo ... man on a hot track he can simply smoke it! He never put his nose to the ground for the first 40 yards (that I could see him) the coon took him across some crp grass into the woods a little ways ... I thought Zeke lost him, but Zeke picked up the track again. The coon doubled back across the crp into a little slough that drains into a ravine ... Zeke was hot on his *ss! Literally!! he caught him! ... Zeke didn't tackle him but held him at bay till I got there ... the old coon was sitting back ready to take Zeke on ... but Zeke just danced around him blowing the old coons ears off! UNfortunately the coon died of heart failure ... Big Old Boar Coon ... weighed 26 lbs. In another month that coon would have been pushing 35 lbs. Zeke was pretty proud of that coon ... he drug him half way back to the truck.

Tim, once hide season starts he's gonna be cranking!

Had a good hunt last night, Paul and I met Darren Batterson up north for a couple turn outs. Darren had his Easy Female(Dual Gr Timber x Dual Grand Abby) nd Paul took his Big Boy dog (Joker x Hazel Hill female) I just went along as a spectator since we taking back a female to Darren that he bred to Joker and he was leaving his Abby female to be bred to Turk. We made three trees and seen 2 coon while hunting with Darren (Easy really looked good). Paul and I hunted Big Boy on the way home and made two drops and treed two singles. Had a real good night.

I've been sick for a couple of days so haven't been on here much.
Resting up and going to hit it again this week. Going to hunt Smoke by himself and try to get a pup or two out by themselves also.
Timmy has already ate one jar of the salsa and loves it. Tell Velisa she is the best.

Just got in from a hunt with Big Brother, he took Big Boy and I had Ranger(young dogs sired by Joker and Turk). We turned loose and since both dogs are independent one went one way and the other went the other way. Both dogs got treed and they each had the meat, dogs looked good.........Tim

Are you guys going to the Bluetick Hunt in Le Grande Iowa this weekend or do you have a hunt closer to home? Haven't heard from Robbie for a couple weeks, how has he been doing?

Paul said that there were 4 of you guys coming down for the bunkhouse Hunt and that Wacker would be there. I am glad that Ryan is bringing Wacker because several want to go with him, be some good exposure...........Tim
