just my opinion ken , but what about chip the next time around with lucy??? i know of 2 or 3 out of that 1st cross that are running and treeing ahead of the old dogs.

 Lil on the tree

 White dogs

There is some single registered dogs back in the pedigree of some of our dogs. When I double up on it, there will be one or two black and white pups in a litter.

I also think that anytime that you line breed or inbreed, you will have more of a chance of getting this coloration. Because it doubles up on the old genes that are in the bloodlines...

i have noticed that alot more white dogs have been showing up in the last few years.i remember cousin roy adkins had some barebottoms blue jack blood mixed with sugar creek then crossed with vaughn or bragg blood you got light colored dogs, but they made COONDOGS!!! alot of old genes resurfacing.hard hunting dogs.ive got alot of real dark dark blues here but im adding some light or white colored blues here and we will see what we get.remember elbert had dogs of every shade of color.
