Marianna and I were sitting up there where we feed the outside cats yesterday afternoon and we saw the Big Gray Tomcat that comes up there to eat.

I have been running him off because the other cats are scared to death of him. He and the old yellow Tom (Rastus) fight all the time and he is younger and bigger that ol' Rastus.

Ol' Rastus is just now getting over a serious injury he sustained fighting. We didn't think he was going to make it but he has come out of it pretty well. I know that is going to be the death of him but I hate to see him go that way. It's just mother nature's way I know.

Anyway Mari told me to let him be... he was just being an ol' Tom cat and was hungry. She named him right then and there since she has agreed to let him be one of the group. He will be called Grayson she said! I'll get a picture of him sometime. He is a handsome specimen of a Tom Cat but mean as H***.

How's this for a subject?

WELL SOME OF MY LIST IS DONE. WENT TO MY DAUGHTERS SOCCER GAME. WHAT A GREAT MORNING FOR A GAME. HER TEAM WON 5-1 SHE SCORED THREE TIMES, GOT KICKED IN THE KNEE. HAD A NICE SNACK WHEN THE GAME WAS OVER. IS VERY HAPPY AND WOUND UP. GOOD EXERCISE FOR THE 7 YEAR OLDS, WISH I HAD HER ENERGY.

Rob...I think you should go to the Ga Outdoor News site and join. http://forum.gon.com/It's just a general board for all kinds of outdoor activities. Members from all over -- not just Georgia. If some of them find out you are a blueticker they will be wanting you to join the 'Blue Dog Mafia" dedicated to distruction of the Walcur breed! I'm a member of the board but I'm not sure if I joined the Mafia or not.

I just picked up on it! They are hard to put up with and pretend to be kidding but are really serious. Just have to take em for what they are and beat em at their own game. I went over to GON and posted some but I haven't participated lately. Seems like the hound huntin is mostly Rabbit hunters having a good time.. or was. Has been months ago that I was last there.

I AGREE SOME OF THEM ARE HARD TO DEAL WITH. I WILL STICK WITH THE BLUES.

Well that sounds good! I'm surprised that we have plenty of acorns here around the place even with the severe dry weather we have had.

Don't think I have. I know of a lot of other signs of that type...thick bark on trees, animals with thick coats, Hornets making nests closer to the grounds and so on. I haven't really looked for the signs much this fall but I wouldn't be surprised if we had a harder winter following the hotter than usual Summer we have had.

That woud fit in the scheme of things!

Where is everyone? That's a good question. As I recall Reb said in an earlier post that his trip was back on. Oct 4 or so wasn't it? Corky prolly run off with a young woman for a while! I don't know if we should expect him back or not. Can be a fatal mistake sometimes!

YEA THAT COULD BE A PROBLEM. I HAVE SAW ALOT OF NICE YOUNG ONES, BUT NEVER HAVE RUN OFF. PROBABLY WOULD DO ME NO GOOD ANYHOW.

WHAT ABOUT OTHERS, CLEO, RRBLUEHOUND ETC,?
