The female I have off of Ox has to be the quietest pup I've ever had but is very focused on whatever she is doing. It's time to find a fresh kill for them,they are already working tracks along the creek.

Don,

Those pups are looking good. A littermate to them is running drags, has ran and bayed a wild kitten coon in a corn field and last week he took her along with a buddy hunting and she treed with the other dogs. That litter is showing a lot of promise at such a young age.

Bob,

Yeah its hot. I just checked on Anna, she's getting real close. Just hoping we can keep her comfortable enough to avoid any trouble whelping pups in the heat.

I think there are 3 pups spoken for in the Anna litter. Should have pups on the ground in the next 48 hours.

He does fit the mold, female reminds me more of the Flag side which isn't all bad either. Best of both worlds in my opinion. This cross boils down basically to Hickory nut Harry , Fnley River Dan And River Bend flag all in a nutshell. From watching these two in the wild, I'm probably making a mistake letting the female go but I'm tired of dodging heat cycles around major hunts. She's one of the smartest pups I've ever raise. Trying to work out a deal with Herschel on maybe letting him have her now and getting a female off of one of his future crosses a couple years down the road. She reminds me of Sarka's Snap, her grandmother.

These dogs are for real.I ha a 4 yr. old male out of wild card that had only been pleasure hunted till this spring.He has been in 11 hunts,8 cast wins,and has 3 wins toward grand.Won 1st Place with him at our local RQE.Have a 4 mo. wild card female pup thats a total natural.Very impressed.

For all you Clover breeders and fans. Here is one of the most line bred Clover females probably in the country. Pure clover blood has proven to be one of the very best lines to cross on. Clover dogs put the track back into the coon dogs they are bred with and if you have one that is a good tree dog, you usually have one that is a pretty tough coon dog as well. This female is all the above. She started treeing coons running loose on the farm at 4-5 months old and has treed them pretty steady ever since. She was born Jan 1, 2011 and is just the right age to get many years of coon hunting and big litters out of. She will absolutely throw dirt in your face when you cut her with or with out company and could care less what other dogs are doing. (Lee Logan bred these dogs to be independent) Which is fine for all the competition hunters but not a whole lot of fun pleasure hunting with your buddies. She is not perfect by no means. She is not fully broke on off game yet and at times will chew and dig at the tree. I bought her as a weanling puppy to hopefully out cross on my Cane River dogs but right now I have 3 females and 2 males and something has got to go. Since she is not out of my dogs or born on my place I decided to let her go.

Really wanting to try a wild Pup But I have a few questions like which stud would you all get one out of ? I'm looking for one that will have high chances of making a nice competition hunter but also can take and show up my buddy's I would like for the pup to have that wild look you know black and white and big and accurate and can show me a coon Really like the looks of butch , wild card , buddy can anyone tell me what they throw in there pups and now they hunt thanks
