Went to the vet yesterday and drew blood to test her for burcullousis(sp).
Ill be takeing her tue. to Joe's and as soon as they fax us the report Guage will get a girl freind.
I've talked to a few guys that I trust that have hunted with Guage and they all said the same thing about how he hunts and trees. Guage and Robin should complement each other in about every department. Course time will tell.

I've allready got calls on the pups but until we know she took and has pups Im not booking any. After they get here we will see what is for sale and then only to competition hunters. Depending on registration in both kcs, performance and SS, stud fee and vet cost we will decide what we will be asking for the pups. Not trying to make money on pups but I have to cover cost.

The Bunk House hunt is just two weeks away and we will be there fri. and sat.
Takeing Smoke and a pup or two and sat Ill go get Robin and she should be out of heat by then. Might hunt her sat. night if someone wants to see her go.

I have too many garmins and collars so Im selling a 220 with a map card and a new garmin replaced DC30 collar as a package for $350.00
The hand held is only three years old and looks new. Works great. I have the extend ant on the DC30 with a dayglo collar. Both in great shape and works like new.
I will have the package with me at the bunk house hunt at Paul and Tim Vaughns the end of the month. The 29th. and 30th. Try it out there.

I talked to Joe and they bred tuesday and again thursday. The count down has began. We should have pups around the 21st of Jan. Great way to start 2014.

The bunk House Hunt is two days away and Im lookimg forward to seeing every body and do some hunting.

Still getting a lot of calls from guys hunting Smoke pups and they are super happy with them. Got a pic from Dusty of his 4 month old Smoke X Blueberrie pup and he is running track and treeing with the older dogs.

This past week I had sme time off from work and got to do some hunting. I was impressed with another smoke X blueberrie cross pup that Kyle Oliver has. We hunted together two nights and got to see his 4 month old pup go all the way and will get after a coon. Course he is all legs now but once he grows into them he will be a coon dog for sure. Plus they are super good lookin too.
Farmed out a candy pup and also a wendy pup while I work on my other candy pup. All three are makeing a good start and Im hopeing to bring atleast two of them to the BBOA Nationals this spring for the young guns.
Still working 7 / 12s so I have to make just one or two dumps when I get to go hunting but these hours at work will be over with I hope after next week. Now if the weather will turn off nice Id be ok.

Robin is getting big with her Guage pups. Im excited to get this cross on the ground. This is my all time favorite female and she is all coondog. These pups will rock the timber.

Tim, Robin is due around the 21st. Yeah we think these will be dandies too.

Got a call from Mark Brown and he had been hunting with his son Scott. Scotts male called Donk is getting it done right and Mark said he was impressed. Donk is out of Smoke X Drizz. This cross has produced some really impreesive young dogs. I will try and get over to Scotts and hunt with him when this weather breaks. Ive heard a lot of good things about this young dog.

Charles called about his little female (smoke x wendy) and said she has been in the woods only twice and likes the way she is starting. Said she. struck and treed off by herself from the old dog. He likes her.

Justin Bloxum called Timmy and had put his. smoke X wendy pup in a hunt but came up short of the cast win. Said she is really nice and is makeing a good young dog. Justin said he really likes her.

Should start to see some young dogs out of smoke in the hunts this spring. So far these youngsters look real promiseing I guess the hunts will show us what he can pass on. I believe that these young dogs will raise some eye brows this year.
