When I was in California I told the people I worked with&hunted with I was going to leave my bear dogs when I left. I was going straight to Tim&Paul Vaughns to get my next bluetick.Right now I have the best bred & the best acting bluetick that I have ever had thanks to Tim Vaughn.I have had blueticks since 1972. Tim&Pauls blood line starts early in every department and has brains to boot. Thats what about 50 years of hunting & breading dogs should get you. Next time I go to see my brother and his family that lives in New Ulm I will give you a call and maybe I can come see your dog........Doug Linn

Glo treed three singles tonight for Dana, Beaux, and Tyler. They said she did a really nice job and treed really hard. The handlers did a great job finding all three coons.

The plan is to continue to hunt her by herself some more. We will start to introduce other dogs before the bunkhouse. Maybe we can get her ready for the bunkhouse hunt. If so we might bring her.

Went hunting Saturday night with Troy Young and his GR CH NT CH Rose female (GR NT CH Crook x GR NT CH Kit) I had Rowdy. We had a good hunt and really got to see some "TREE DOGS" at work, man can they lite up a tree!.........Tim

Hunting has been great with the pups, while Smoke has been on the mend. We did take him out one night this weekend and had a great hunt but the next morning his leg swelled up again so he is still on the injured reserve list. If he does't get better in a few days I think we will make a trip to a different vet.
Sounds like you guys have had some good ones too. Don't let Doug slick handle you on the next one! ........Roy

Took him out for a short one and he made it look easy. Had a nice corn field race and he pushed it to a bean field and run hot enough that he began to shut up on track. Put it up a hedge tree no taller than my head, I think he was about to catch it on the ground and the coon decided to get out of Dodge. Poor thing fell out totally exhausted I guess he was too tired to hang on.

Yea it takes some time for them bites to heal up ... when Zeke got bit on the leg by that coon a while back it took a while to heal up. My vet gave him anti-biotics and prednazone (steroid) ... I was woried cause it was right in the joint but he turned out fine. Was smoke bit by a coon or a dog??? Steve

Had a good hunt last night with Big Brother Paul, we took LuLu and Slick. The coon were not moving the best and the females walked our butts off, they definately are not afraid of the dark. We turned loose 3 times had a maybe tree, den tree and a tree full. The females looked good, turn them loose and go find them treed..........Tim

She is 4 I believe and a real nice hound, my brother bought her from Jeff for a pretty penny when he found out that Jeff was gettimg out of coon hunting. LuLu should make a NT CH real easy this fall and Grand out next spring. She is a real good strike dog that can move a track and get treed, bawl and squall on track hard chop on tree, stay put tree dog. I am just about ready to start hunting my pup out of LuLu, she is giving the cats heck..........Tim

Hunted at Prarie Home last night in the pouring down rain. Hunted with Charles Wyatt and Daniel Huntsel. We scored on one coon and Daniels little female had 1st and 1st on it, that was enough to win 1st place. Mad Dog Peggy is now a NT CH, congrats to Daniel Hunsel (Peggy's handler and Guy Houx Pegg's Owner), she looked good and stayed out of trouble.......Tim

The Mad-Dog females had a good showing around the country this weekend, Jazz was finished to GR NT CH in Alabama, Peggy was finished to NT CH in Missouri and Blue Berry won 1st in Wisconsin. That pretty much covers it North to South..........Tim
