WE HAD A GREAT TIME AT BLACK & TAN DAYS, MET WITH ALOT OF MY OLD FRIENDS AND MADE SOME NEW ONES AS ALWAYS..

THE BOY THAT I TOOK WITH ME THIS YEARS 3-4 MONTH OLD SON DEVOPED SOME RESPITORY PROBLEMS AND WE LEFT THURSDAY AFTERNOON TO GET TO THE HOSPITIAL AND HIS BABY IS BACK HOME NOW AND DOING FINE..

THE YOUNG MAN THAT WAS WITH ME FELT BAD THAT WE LEFT EARLY AND JUST WANTED ME TO PUT HIM ON A BUS SO IT WOULDNT MESS UP MY TRIP AND I TOLD HIM THAT WOULDNT BE THE CHRISTIAN THING TO DO IN MY EYES AND IF I DIDNT THINK IT WAS RIGHT IN WAY OF THINKING I KNEW GOOD AND WELL IT WASNT RIGHT IN GOD'S EYES EITHER..

I GUESS WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY IS LET THE GOOD LORD BE YOUR GUIDE IN ALL THAT YA DO AND YOU'LL NEVER EVER HAVE ANY REGRETS IN YOUR LIFE AS LONG AS YOUR DOING WHAT YA THINK GOD WANTS YA TO DO..

You did a wonderful thing to bring the young man home for his child! So very glad to hear he is home now too... scary to have a sick child, especially a little one.
Your post means alot... I think people sometimes get so wrapped up in LIFE they forget to do even small gestures for others(or big ones)..... And some people do things to "show off" that they are "good people"... which seems meaningless in the long run. You did a GOOD thing because you CARED!

Ron, Nice to see you safely home! Glad you had a nice time at BnT days and keep looking forward to NEXT yr when you can hunt there with a nice comfy knee....

It is Monday... This is the day Bob goes back to work, the kids are at school and I always feel like sleeping the WHOLE day! 2 hounds snoozing on the sofa, a bit grey and cool outside.... the perfect day to catch up on here and Zzzzzzzzzz! I think this sort of Monday feeling is one that housewifes, house husbands etc.. share but those who work feel it Saturday? LOL...
This morning the woods across the street were filled with smells and little rustles...as I stood on the road hanging on desperately to 2 80-90 lb coonhounds....LOL... I had to thank God for this little bit of woods we had left. Just about then something like fireworks went off??? Not sure what that was at 7:30 am... Bluedawg Exploded... BnT even howled and I was thanking God for the little bit of strength I have left... Nothing like have a moment of Peaceful Reflection SHATTERED!
I find that the woods and a nighttime sky filed with stars are the places that make us FEEL that Spiritual connection the best... the sky I see is the same many others are seeing...the woods although the y may be different in location and vegetation.... are still The Same... they are part of our natural world... The world I was taught to appreciate and be thankful for as a small child. Such gifts!
Hope you all have a great day! If it's nice out, take a second to BREATH in the air feel the wonderful sun shining down on your face...if it's raining take a second to smell the earthy scents... and find the time to be Thankful to the good Lord for letting us share this and for giving us another day as well,

The number of people without work right now is very sad! We have to keep tugging along and keeping our heads high! I have always believed in the Lord providing for us as long as we do our share and keep trying.
I may not be a rich women when it comes to money, cars-things of this world, but I can promise you I nor my children have never gone hungry. I thank God for that.

I work in Quality at a plant that makes wire for Timken Manufacturing. Due to the GM/Chysler deal we are struggling and will find out on Thursday about our future. I hope things turn around for all of us. I know that God has a plan for me.........he always has and always will.

...Ah, a Priviledge indeed... I loved my carreer and miss it! I am thankful to be alive...so I can live without the ability to work! I seem to be able to find plenty of ways to touch a life when I can....and always loved that part of my job anyway so it's much the same now for me...
I pray that the economy can turn around so people can work and survive etc...
On that line...JOBS... my psychiatrist, who I see every couple mos. for my brain injury issues and my meds... is also a Greek Orthodox Priest, which is the religion I was Christined into but not really raised in... anyway... here he is an MD who rarely gets the chance to speak about God and Christ in his Career. We had a Lovely talk about Christ today though which is cool for him...he knows my grandfather was important in the Church long ago... He was very tired from Easter and we talked of how uplifting it is for HIM even though it is tiring. He told me about a place to bring my mother once she feels well enough to see some beautiful Icons. Since she is an artist and restored the icons in a local Gr. Ortho. basilica... he felt she would enjoy the tirp.

Cleo... My mum had her eye surgery and is doing SO well that she does not need me to go stay with her! This was GOOD news and I know that the prayers of SO many people from ALL over have helped her (and indirectly me since the drive is very hard on me....)

It is a rainy awful day today here and It is AWESOME since we need the rain! May you all have the weather you need to do whatever it is you do today....

we will shut down for last week in May - July (no sure what part).

It could be worse. It could be "close down" instead of "shut down".

THE AVERAGE LIFE SPAN ,THEY SAY IS AROUND SEVENTY FIVE TO EIGHTY YEARS.BUT WHO CAN SAY YOU OR I HAVE THAT LONG?WE MAY HAVE LESS THAN 2 YEARS,OR FOR THAT MATTER 2 WEEKS OR EVEN 2 DAYS. Ron,
I`ve been reading what all of you guys write on here, and I want you yo know it really helps alot when I`m having a rough day. Ever since my neice passed away in March, I realize how life is to short not to believe in God. We all have a purpose in life, and one of mine I believe is knowing I have alot more christan friends then I did 9 years ago. I feel really blessed with what I have. All my family and great friends, and most of all is knowing God is always here for me.
