Tim it was nice meeting you and your wife, We made it home safe and got the pup settled in his pen, I think he will work, I really really liked that pup in the pen next to the one my pup was in, How was it bred again? thanks for the pepper's my wife said she was going to make chili thank's again talk to ya later.

It's been a long weekend. The guy that called about the pups showed up and went hunting with me fri. night and they were very impressed with Smoke. They are not looking for any dogs, they just wanted to go hunting.
Went to Cole Camp sat. and had a good hunt but just plain and simple got beat by Ivan Smiths walker dog Mercer. He is a nice hound and just got one more tree by himself than Smoke.
Timmy went with me and he is all fired up for this weekend at the state hunt.
How did the horseshoe pitching go?

Missed hunting Monday night, I worked day shift and then went back in for the midnight shift.
Timmy and I went last night and ole Smoke grubbed one up and got it moving. By the gramin he tracked it 6.8 mi. Went from one corn field to another and crossed the creek and made a run in the milo. Treed super hard and had the meat. Big ole boar coon that was a jumper.

Had a super corn field race again last night. Lasted about 30 min and even in the cool weather ole Smoke got pretty hot. Treed another big boar and Timmy jumped it out and the fight was on. In round 1,2 and 3 the coon was winning, he was a big one and was about all Smoke could handle but Smoke won in the end. I went out to check him this morning and he looks like the tail end of hard times, he got his ears chewed up pretty good. He's gettin cranked up.

Had a nice conversation with Lance Byrd yesterday. He really likes his Southern Glo female and his Sage male. Glo is sired by Turk and Sage was sired by Sid, these are a couple of Mad Dog pups that are making their owner proud.........Tim

im excited to be getting two pups out of turk. i like what i see in lance and dana's dogs. i get to hunt with them on a regular basis. i have not gotten to hunt with glo yet but will this weekend.

Rowdy won 1st and High scoring male last night, he sure likes to get treed. Thats 2 firsts out of 4 hunts, have to go back tonight to hunt for overall hunt champion ( most cast wins and combined score)........Tim
