I wanted to share something I heard on the Radio this morning. The morning hosts were discussing the end of the world. Someone has once again “proved” that the world will self destruct in the fall of 2012. They were taking call-ins from people to find out their thoughts on the subject.
A young girl (she sounded young, I am not sure her age) called in and said that she saw on some TV channel that the world would come to an end on Dec. 21, 2012 from the planetary in-lineament (?) that would cause the world to explode. She was asked several questions from the radio announcer in which she answered the best she could from what she remembered from the TV show that she was watching. Suddenly she said, “I know exactly when I am going to leave this earth.” The announcer pounced on that comment…
She fired right back at him. She said, “My last day on this earth will be the day that Jesus comes back for me. That’s the rapture. That will be my last day on this earth.”

I thought it was simply awesome. There was no come back on that comment from the announcer. She was positive and direct! I loved the fact that there was NO denial of God for her!

THIS YOUNG LADY DID, AS WELL AS MISS CALIFORNIA. WIN OR NO WIN THE WORLD KNOWS WHERE MISS CALIFORNIA STANDS WHEN IT COMES TO HER FAITH. MARRIAGE IS BETWEEN A WOMAN AND A MAN, ADAM AND EVE: NOT ADAM AND STEVE !!!!!!!!!!!

ST. PETER DENIED JESUS TO SAVE HIMSELF FROM PERSECUTION, YET JESUS LOOKED UPON HIM WITH EYES OF PERFECT LOVE AS HE WAS LED AWAY TO BE MOCKED SPIT UPON, BEATEN, AND HUNG ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SINS.

Our friend, Ron is off to BnT days, hopefully having a wonderful time already! As he and his friends old and new get together for hounds we send them prayers for safe travel and safe hunts. We hope they make new friendships to last lifetimes.
This morning as I did my meander around our small farm enjoying nature and flowers-after doing my barn chores, I was once again struck by the beauty of the gift of life. Our middle son, Brandon, has gotten his first job(FINALLY)... and is working at a garden center and liking it. Last night I commented to Bo I was a bit jealous that Brandon can work. I miss work so very much sometimes(injuries forced retirement)... I dont' often feel sorry for myself and jealousy is not my thing normally so I was shocked by my feelings. I was reminded that I sometimes feel inadaquete(sp)... and I know I should not! God gave me the gift of life the day of my accident and I LOVE life intensely. SO... this morning as I walked around and dug up some hidden bulbs to transplant and save... I thought of how I can share that now with Brandon and he'll understand the gardening and flowers etc. Instead of wishing I could do all that wonderful hard work again I was Pleased that Brandon had been given the chance at this job...which will bring us closer together.
I hope that all of you can feel Blessed today! I hope you feel Gods presence in all moments good and bad and realise that ALL have meaning.
Ron and I have spoken about Spiritual connections made possible by the internet and this forum. I know that for ME this connection has brightened many a day. May today be a bright day for all,

We hope that today brought you all blessings. All of you who were able to make it to your place of worship, we hope you felt especially close to the Lord....
It was so very hot here today... high 80s for the second day in a row. Had me thinking about how the animals were suffering with it...and stopped to send prayers for the People who will be effected by heat waves. The elderly who struggle so, especially if their income is low... Hope that all of you had good weather for all your days activities.

We hope that Ron's trip to BnT days is going very well.

Thanks also to you, Brad. With Ron being away at the BnT thingy... and me being here just about all the time... I know I am in the position to keep this post up front so all can have the chance to see it.
I'm also going to ask that all of you who are willing to say a little prayer for my Mum today. She is in eye surgery as I type. She's had many...but this is a cornea transplant and some other stuff. Pretty "routine" these days and outpatient but... she will be NINETY if God sees to let her... in July. At her age there is a bit more concern. My nurse sister will be staying with her for a week or so and then I will be there for her over night for about 5 days after that....
Well...gotta run. Ironically I have a eye Dr appt with our Glaucoma Dr(who found the problem with my Mums eye)...

Good luck to your Mum, Heather!
I must say that you and sister are very blessed to have her!
My mother passed away from a stroke when I was 7. I know from that that God has a plan in everything that happens in our lives....good & bad.
I have learned very valuable life lessons from her (and still do) even tho she's only able to look down apon me now. I feel her as tho she is right beside me everyday!

Prayers up for your Mum as well as all Mums/Mommas today!

God bless and how in the world did you guys make out at the BnT thingy? I know you had fun no matter what!!!!!

Thanks for the good luck to My Mum. Not sure you recall but when I first "met" you on here I told you I loved your name and that is because an important and great woman in my life is also a Cleo...and that is my Mum! She is a wonderful woman who is not taken for granted... 7 Is a tough age to lose a parent. Bobs youngest, Dylan was 7 and Brandon 10 when their Mom Shelley died.... Thankfully Bob was a GREAT dad and Mom for a while...then I was able to adopt them and Bob my son and become a family... I'm sorry about your loss but agree that your mom has been with you every step of the way since you lost her.

The BnT thingy... Is BnT days... which is coming up this weekend. Riverbottom Ron and his wife and a few other BnTers all left early to get together and hunt and do all that fun stuff. Wish WE were able to be there! Would be a blast. Someday Bob and I look forward to meeting Ron in real life!

My eye appt was awesome, all's well eye drops controlling my eyes and keeping me from the damage my mother has been thru... Haven't yet heard of the results of her surgery but know she is FINE for now. To think a part of someone else will help HER eye to see again if it works! Such wonder.... I marvel at the medical world and also the generosity of a deceased person! Sure glad that the ultimate healer has given some knowledge to those who can help the healing process!

Here it is the first day of May! Time is flying... The flowers are blooming all over...
Hope that all have a great weekend, safe hunts, successful competitions and some good time with family and or friends....

As the day goes on I hope that all of you will take a moment to think of someone in need, perhaps the type of person most days you wouldn't give a thought...someone who may be a bit "different", someone who is perhaps homeless or even someone who is just to GRUMPY to have many people to care about them... and send a prayer for that person to perhaps better the day for him or her.... I know that I like to try to do this when I think of it. Perhaps I'm having a tough moment and beginning to feel about down about something in my life... I then recall how much I have been blessed with and I try to think of someone who is not as lucky.... it's amazing what prayer can do....
