Just got in from what was one of my most memorable hunts. Had 4 dogs, 2 seasoned, 1 2yo and a pup 11 months old. It was one of the best displays of dog work I've ever seen. Started off the night with a hot rig, put my older male down to make sure it wasn't trash and sent the rest with him 200 yds later treed with a den. Next went and dropped em, they all worked a huge area and 3 dogs come back without a bark except my male on his way back he struck 500 yards out. Moved closer to him and he was treed, walked in 400 yard shined and there sat a nice boar. The 2nd drop the 2 youngest struck not long after dropping the tailgate and lit out pretty quick, figured it was trash til the 2 older dogs piped in. Ran that track hard for 1000yds to a den. Last drop my young female and my buddies old female struck about 200 yds in, the other 2 followed but didn't say much. Ran that track about half a mile maybe more to the top of a ridge and there sat a massive boar.
