There is a lot of HUNTING BOOTS MADE IN THE USA. Irish Setter/Red Wing, Hoffman, Danner, Wellco, Wesco, Chippewa, Belleville, etc.. Now a days it's hard to keep up with all the out-sourcing but buying any product made in AMERICA helps!! As for MUCK, never liked there boots anyhow but it's hard to say if they supported HSUS or not being all the BS on the internet these days. Yet it don't take but a second for them to post something about SUPPORTING the organizations (Hunting/Agriculture) that keeps them in business.

These companies mentioned may make American made boots but most of their boots are imported. Danner Pronghorns for example are probably Danners best selling boot but it is made in a foreign country. The American made boots that these companies make will have a price of $350 and up. I got tired of buying boots year after year so I broke down and bought a pair of LOWA boots made in Europe. Yes they were expensive in the beginning but I have had them 4 years and they look hardly worn. So I have actually saved money. They are an excellent boot. German and European made boots are very good boots.
