These boots are worn by thousands of hunters every year. Part of the business model is hunting/sporting boots.
Last time I looked that was us!!

People want the Muck Boot company to make a statement. I think they do everyday the sell boots designed for hunting. If you owned a company and you were anti hunting, would you design and sell hunting boots. I think Muck has read all this nonsense and seen all the information turned inside out by uninformed people. You can't fight a wildfire with gasoline. You wait for the wind to settle down and keep doing what you do best. Design and sell boots that Hunters enjoy wearing!! Thats a statement!!

Couldn't agree more, Great post Bruce...........Tim

As for MUCK, never liked there boots anyhow but it's hard to say if they supported HSUS or not being all the BS on the internet these days. Yet it don't take but a second for them to post something about SUPPORTING the organizations (Hunting/Agriculture) that keeps them in business.

"YOU GOT TO STAND FOR SOMETHING OR YOU'LL FALL FOR ANYTHING."

These companies mentioned may make American made boots but most of their boots are imported. Danner Pronghorns for example are probably Danners best selling boot but it is made in a foreign country. The American made boots that these companies make will have a price of $350 and up. I got tired of buying boots year after year so I broke down and bought a pair of LOWA boots made in Europe. Yes they were expensive in the beginning but I have had them 4 years and they look hardly worn. So I have actually saved money. They are an excellent boot. German and European made boots are very good boots.

Why would a large company get on this little post and apologize. You all are nuts. They gave you an explanation and its not good enough. Thats whats wrong with America, everyones waiting to pounce on someone for nothing and jump to conclusions. Making mountains out of mole hills.

Yes TBO I could very well be nuts!

I never thought that the Muck boot company would for one second post the fact`s on the UKC forum......however this is not the only forum or website were they could post the truth. Most aggie forums, and sites have a number of folks asking the same questions.Maybe the American farmers, and ranchers are also nut`s?The first response from Muck was on their facebook page.....this could be a good place for the company to start!I have not seen it for myself but some people are suggesting that one of their last statements was a very supportive statement regarding Americas farmers, and hunters.I will try to find this for myself. If and when I do....I will be very happy to post the link for you.I need to go now so I can check in to the hospital before they start a nation wide search for me.
