Ivermec 1% solution 1/10cc per 10lbs. Example. 50lb dog 1/2cc. MONTHLY..

Strongid (PYRANTEL POMATE) 1cc per 10lbs 2 days in a row. Cheaper than nemex. nemex is a pyrantel pomate base as well.

Safeguard (FENBENDAZOLE) liquid for goats (120ml bottle). 1cc per 4.4lbs, give 3 consecutive days in a row.

Worm every 3-4 months with wormers and monthly with the ivermec... I give the safeguard & strongid a week apart. Worming too much will get worms immuned to the medicine. So I worm 3-4xs a year, but I ivermec monthly. I don't mix nothing.. THIS IS JUST WHAT I DO PER MY VET....

Drontal plus will get tapes, whip, hook & round worms. You have to get it from the vet. Its not a otc med... The pills are issued by poundage, some generic pill differ, ex 1 pill for 50lbs, others come in 25lb body weight...

Main ingredients:
pyrantel pomate, fenbendazole & ivermec..
Tape worms need pryxanquitel.. Sorry bout the spelling lol...

Wheat germ oil...
Go to the vet an get the droncit or drontal plus tabs. That's your best bet IMO..
Call around an find the cheapest n your area. But the droncit & drontal can't be beat.

You can also use this..

The ivermec paste is for horses. Its the cheap way out. But many do it. Its a guessing dosage cause you can't administer the proper dosage cause its a paste for horses.. VALBAZEN (ALBENDAZOLE) is a bad wormer for dogs. Definitely not recommended. But some may differ with thier opinion. Research it for yourself..
DRONCIT & DRONTAL PLUS will get the tapes, whip, hook & round worms with a single dosage.

Valbazen is an oral suspension for the purpose of removing and controlling liver flukes, and various worms such as tape, stomach, intestinal, and lung worms, predominantly in farm animals. Most research points to the fact that it is highly recommended that Valbazen not be administered to dogs and cats. To begin with, this oral suspension, even in farm animals, may not fully treat the removal of all worms effectively. If I were you I'd switch to FENBENDAZOLE..
Its prolly a whole lot cheaper and safer, an will treat round, whip, hook and a certain tape worm species.. But it has to be given 3 days in a row. Its the same thing as PANACURE...

In a Fresh Clean/Sterile Bottle that can Hold around 24 oz. of liquid add the Entire 16 oz. bottle of Pyrantel Pamoate Suspension.
Add the 6 level Table spoons + 1 Tea spoon of Praziquantel, quantity is 23,500 mg. Add
all the powder to the 24 oz bottle of Pyrantel Pamoate Suspension.
Next Draw off around 2.36 cc/ml of Ivermectin and add that to the Bottle of Mixture .. Shake the Bottle for 3-4 min. Plus shake continence before each dog dosage.

Each ml/cc will treat 14 pounds of dog weight . So a 60 pound would receive 4.25 ml/cc of the Mixture ..

Formula for Dosage is ( Total Dog weight / "Divided" by 14 )

If this is your mixture you are right.

**No way a dog is getting the proper dosage to treat heart worms. When you add the ivermec to the other 2 wormers. The ivermec is being broken down made weaker, less potent than being given by itself cause its being mixed with 2 other wormers. HEART WORMS are a dogs worst enemy... Heart worms can't be cured like round whip hook & tape worms cause of the longer recovery. I'd rather deal with those 3 worms any day than heart worms. And the 2.36 ivermec is for a dosage for over 200lbs, but remember its broken down when added to the other wormers. The proper dosage for heart guard is 1/10cc/10 pounds body weight. Seems a few ppl are confused on these basic instructions on mixing.** THIS A INTERESTING TOPIC.......

**The pyrantel pomate is administered 1cc per 10# body weight..**
**The ivermec is administered 1/10cc per 10lbs..**
**pryzanquitel is administer in mg's to weight threw pills..**
With the mixture of all 3 a proper dosage is not being given to treat each species of worms due to the dilution..

( Each ml/cc will treat 14 pounds of dog weight . So a 60 pound would receive 4.25 ml/cc of the Mixture ..)

**A 60lb dog would recieve 6cc's of pyrantel and 6/10'a of ivermec..**

Ivermec 1% solution 1/10cc per 10lbs. Example. 50lb dog 1/2cc. MONTHLY.

Heart Guard has .012 CC/ML per # of weight for dogs. Are you saying it won't work to prevent heart worms?

Its prolly measured like that cause it has other different wormer ingredients like pyrantel ect. No vet will recommend administering ivermec like this.
But: Ivermec 1% solution 1/10cc per 10lbs. Example. 50lb dog 1/2cc. MONTHLY is the proper dosage... They make 2 different bottles of ivermec. The pure & the cut. The cut is the 1%. The 1% is what you should be using monthly with no mixture or break down. The heart guard could be made with the uncut version since it has other ingredients in it like pyrantel pomate..

How does Heartgard Plus work? Heartgard Plus is used in the prevention of heartworm infection and the control and treatment of various other worm infections. It kills the immature form of the heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis), which is transmitted by a mosquito. It is also used for the treatment and control of hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, A. brasiliense, and Uncinaria stenocephala) and roundworms (ascarids - Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina).

Heartgard Plus contains two active ingredients: ivermectin, which interferes with the parasite's nerve transmission, causing paralysis and death of the immature heartworms (larvae), and pyrantel pamoate, which also interferes with the parasite's nerve transmission, causing paralysis and death of intestinal worms.

What are the benefits of Heartgard?

* Protect your dog from potentially deadly heartworm disease * Treat and control hookworms and roundworms (which can cause disease in both pets and people) * Delicious beef-flavored chewable is easy to administer.

(This the small print that some ppl don't see. Like the extra ingredients that get administered in mg's)

**BLEACH(germ killer) PINESOL(kills the smell)**
Go to Walmart an get you a sprayer that hooks up to your water hose an put half bleach & half pinesol in it. You can mix it how you like. Adjust sprayer if it can be, then soak your knls. Let dry put your hounds back in it, but scoop out all the poop before spraying.. The pinesol will cut the urine smell.
