Thanks Lee, I busted last night the short run is over.... I called time out on my own dog when he was trailing deep but he had been on the ground for 1hr and 30 Min.. We were going back to get the trucks and he fell treed.... If I would have waited he had the coon and the cast would have been over.... The next drop we made two drops... the next one all the dogs blew up on a possum bout 750yrds with 5 min left in the hunt... So we got busted... It was fun had good cast both nights.... I just went against my golden rule..... NEVER CALL TIMEOUT.... AND BY THE WAY I TOOK MY MINUS- TO CALL IT... LOL... IM A MORON AND YOU CAN'T FOOL A MORON!!

Good luck to every one left.... Hope someone makes a good run....

 Coon Season

Middle Ga.
My hunting partner missed this bad boy and a bad day by inches the other night. I thought it was a copper head when I saw it, but when it started singing I almost had a heart attack.

We had prayer meeting after the initial excitement was over turned our lights on high and we were both stepping high. My cousin missed it by less than a couple of inches and he had on neoprene muck boots..... By the time we made it out of the thicket I was weak as water.

 Henry!!!

Henry is now located in the RED HILLS of Mississippi!!!

We will be taking a trip to town this weekend to see what are winter work produced. Henry was hunted all winter in the N. Ga. Mtns. by my cousin Franklin Mallett, one of the best dog men in the country. He said Henry was welcome to come back any time. Henry ran in the 90% range all winter on having a coon on the outside and if you counted the den trees as for sures he would have been 95%. I don't know how he will fair in this neck deep water and mississippi mud but we will soon find out.
