hunted a few nites with IX (aka lumber) and 2 of his littermate sisters.......all 3 had more brains than most hounds i ve walked behind.....also started early, fast on track and tree minded....also hunted with a couple pups out of lumber.....they was the same way.....not to mention lumber his sisters AND his pups are very easy on the eyes.......just my 2 cents worth....

I remember that night, doc was a young dog and comin on strong. yes he would tree!!!! but the best thing about doc was his nose! wow! what track power! had a BIG BEAUTIFUL bawl! and a perfect split nose! heard he turned into a COONDAWG!!! another one that i wish i would ve kept!!!!!!!!!!
