I grew up in a shark fishing family My dad and 2 sisters had world record bluesharks(records LONG broken, all but one that stood last time I checked).... I only caught a lil one myself...but it was Blue so that was good. We always LOVED beachcomning too and we had skulls and skeletons and all sorts of cool stuff to draw(also a family of artists).... That would be SOME FIND! Mighta been a bit stinky though? lol.. How big was it? Had someone cut off the fin?

The smell... I can smell it from here... you can't describe the scent of a dead shark to another person... it goes beyond YUCK! lol...

I can't imagine finding that AFTER getting out of the ocean from a swim...lol... I don't swim if I don't have to and surely not in the ocean(even in the Keys it was too cold for me... LOL) After I first saw a blue shark near shore in MA I never went in the Atlantic again... and RARELY in the Gulf... SHudder I am almost as scared of sharks as I am bears!
