The new Alpha & TT10 collars are much better with collar lock or last signal than the previous units for my use, much better reception & ease of loading sattlelite
The only time I've locked is when a dog was shown treed in the middle of a 4 lane road, but he was about 15ft off when I got there
I will knock some wood, but I have not lost signal where it was pretty common before.
I have not had the compass screen lock yet
I'm still not ready to throw my dog in that cave though

No mumbo jumbo here, just the facts if you rig our bet to where there is no GPS lock, that is going dead against my original experiment! Seriously though, what about my ? I asked you, do you know the answer? If that collar will transmit its last known position I bet I could have still found your dog!

MOJO

**FROM BB&L; I WILL RUN HIM DOWN HE IS A PIECE OF **** THE HANDLER MADE THE DOG.....
BB&L Your babbling again
You need to stay on track, this is not a "Bash Mojo Thread"
Mojo as for ability is the dog coonhunters dream of
Reproducing, he will probably break all the records as to money won, & Grand Nights
He's already won sire of the year awards
Has treed more coons than most hunters top ten dogs
Scott Engle or any body else did not "make" him
A hard hunter in Western North Carolina raised & trained him, & mister, all hunters could use lessons from him
Oh Yeah, when he was hunted, always had a Garmin collar on him

Crap, looks like I got off track too
Must be all that trash I ran when younger

As far as Mojo goes, robert raxter is one of the nicest men you will meet and he knows how to train a dog. drew him once several years ago and we had a great time on that cast.
