P.S. Timothy keep breeding your dogs guys like me can get a good hound one day.

In 1974 I bought my first registered hound, a treeing walker female pup out of one of Alvin Sistrunks good females and the original Hickory Nut Harry. I had always hunted grade dogs, they were coondogs. One of the best I've had was a half red tick and half rebone. The gyp I purchased turned out to be a natural and I've been a walker man since. If I were to have been living in a different geographical location other than Oklahoma, I would have bought a pup locally and it may have turned out to be just as good.

People have a need to knock hounds, breeders, handlers, breeds etc. for whatever reason it may be at that time. I've done it myself

Timothy Ball is a good human being that knows what a coonhound is and he has the means along with the know-how as to make a buck.

I now own half of a FreakShow 16 month old that is loud, independent, get some gone in thin coon stay put tree dog.I thank the much disliked, by many, Timothy Ball for the many years of doing his part to see that we people that live in an area where the coon populations are thin, for offering sure enough coondogs at stud for our worthy females.

What I like is everyone talks trash about him and as soon as he hits the club house everyone kisses his bottom..No matter how clean or dirty the coveralls are...

I use to talk about him until he told me to find a line of dogs I like and hunt it and be proud of it no matter what anyone says even if he talks about it..It is part of being a man of conviction..

Right now I am undecided but I know I like the few I got and hope they make coondogs..

Take that back I have one coondog that is straight, misses very few times..I check my holes whether in the ground (grrr..hate that about her) and trees..

She is 6 and has lost some of her voice (little bit) and she is Harry over Sackett Jr X Lipper female. She is NOT for SALE. So I am glad you all don't want her being that she is out of Harry..

How many Harry Females with Gold or other stud dog's over them make dog's that are big winners..

Maybe I am stupid...

I like what I see in the hunt reports on Wipeout and Coma dogs also..

Mr. Ball and those who have top hounds and winners of big hunts have my attention because I am a nobody wanting to have a world beater...Oneday I will win the lottery and buy one...I am not good enough or have enough knowledge to pick one or train one to be a top hound.. Maybe Redgy at Valley Creek will sell me a top hound when I win the Lottery..Maybe OUTCAST...OOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEE.....I like the heck out of that dog and I don't know nor care how that dog is bred, that is a top hound in my book....I want to be like Redgy, Mr. Ball and all you who have great dogs...I am just a blue collar living pay check to paycheck white boy who wishes he had a stinger...

Praying for a TOP COONDOG...

You guys with top dog and have bounds of knowledge should teach us who are not as knowledge able and help us experience a TOP NOTCH COONDOG. Help us achieve our dreams and quit shutting us new guys out because we don't know..Teach us don't deny us our dreams and remember who helped you whether a father, family member or whom ever..We need your help...I am not going to lie, I want to know what it is like to own a TOP NOTCH COMPETION AND PLEASURE COONDOG...

I own a coondog but she is not a top NOTCH by no means..

Call me if you get tired of winning with that top coondog and I will take her or him...Can't buy him/her unless you finance it like a house...Might even miss a payment and have to do a make up payment..

Driveshaft, I doubt many people have had a dog the same Caliber as old Harry. You may coonhunt all your life and know your stuff, still be lucky to have 1 or 2 of those kinds of hounds. Harry was a coondog. Ball can bragg and carry on about pedigrees and everything he does and it doesnt make me want to attack him or his character in any way. I really dont see why some of you guys are so quick to pile on. About 99% of the coonhunters in the nation probably brag on their dogs to someone. I know I have. Its OK to brag on a dead dog, he cant come back and make a liar of you!LOL

The dead ones are the only ones you can brag about because the others will definitely make a liar out of you.

I don't know you, but I do know that the generalized statements you make about T Ball's dogs can b emade about any stud dog, I have hunted with Mill Creek Molly 5 or 6 times, an dhaven't ever seen her look real good, you don't win as much as she has with out being one of the best ever. Some one with your level of hound knowledge might see a dog look bad, or average and say " that dog is a sh_t eater" old billy bob that I shot was better than her, after 1 hour in the woods with them, I've heard all kinds of stupid statements from uniformed people such as yourself. I drew out with Hardwood Dan at a hunt, had several spectators on the cast, the guide dropped us in a cut over horse pasture to " see how good these big named dogs really are" ( another idiot) and none of the dogs in the cast looked good at all. when we got back to the club, I heard one of the idiot spectators say " i wouldn't give a 22 shell to kill any one of those dogs" Lets see, 2 time Purina points winner Harwood Dan had bads nights, but a coon dog by any mans standards. I own a female directly out of Stylish Hickory Nut Harry, one of the best I have ever owned. Say what you want, but his dogs produced a hell of a lot of coon dogs. How many have yours reproduced?

T-Ball

Tim must be doing something right, he has a bunch of no name coon hunters filling up over 5 pages talking about him and his dogs. I love to read his ads, and you must remember they are ads.... something you do to catch peoples attention. As for his dogs... I wouldn't mine owning and hunting Old Harry, StylishHarry, Cutter, Jet, Storm, Hammer, Zipcode, RPM, Gold, Freakshow.... ok, I'm tired of typing and all of the other hounds that he owned or produced. Sometimes you just have to give credit where it's do. Tim has made a lot of money doing what he loves to do, I bet a lot of us wish we could do the same whatever it may be in. Good luck and god bless you all and Long Live Stylish Harry in all of his ancestors!!

T. Ball

People that speak bad of him are jealous. Bottom line. He has bred more top dogs and sold more high dollar dogs than anyone in coonhound history and some people cant handle the fact that their backyard breeding operation hasnt bought them a few trucks over the years.

Last year I went down and hunted and bought a female off of Mr.Ball. She looked good down there but after I'd had her home for awhile I thought what the **** did I just do? I hunted her as often as I could and she looked like total ****. My husband was about as irate with me as could be, but she's really come around and is one of both our favorite dogs to hunt. Anyway, Mr. Ball never told me one lie about that dog, he told me her good points and bad and she's just exactly like he said she would be. However, he's still a dog jockey and when it really comes right down to it, how many completely honest people are there in the world? It's the responsibility of the buyer to use their own discretion and judgement when purchasing anything from anybody. I'm neither defending nor honoring what he does. I agree his ads are garrish at times but they also aren't the only ones that read World's best... either. Everybody's entitled to their own opinion, this is America folks.
