I think you'd be a fine candidate to lead MN State Coonhunters into the future.

well why were you not a memeber of the assoc last year................... and i think ill nominate you because you have done so much for the ukc clubs in your area UKC and other KC clubs ,how many clubs do u support other than the ones in your area, how many times have you come up and helped with the minnesota state youth hunt , how come you are no longer a mater of hounds for ukc ???? why are you no longer allow at the Preston club????? should i keep going , you are such a great example for all comp hunters in this state i liked you better when you were here just to spectate!!!!!!

You win Jim. You can be the hero today.

I apologize to my fellow Minnesotans. Its a shame this thread took a turn this direction. I should have known better to respond to anything posted by Jim Hill. My apologies. I'll pass along the info I gather to the few coonhunters I know are participating in the process of getting these regulations changed.

Bob H, Gary H, Alan K, Ryan S & Jesse N, keep up the good work.

Brogy OVER & OUT.

i think working together with trappers would be a better idea than fighting with them , do i want anyones dogs stuck in a trap ....not at all wouldnt wish it on anybody, but there is ways to go about things , i hunt public land in redwing and the trappers there are very lazy but that dont mean they all are ,when i see traps i either move to a diff spot or just pack the dogs up and leave,

Jesse, I think you are missing my point of my ? . I started competion hunting in 1986 but havn't done any in 6 or 7 years . I have lost touch with all the rules and all the " going's on's " of the competion coon hunting world . When a person joins an organization it usually comes with some type of " benefits " . What I'm asking is what benefits does the MSCHA offer ?

To answer your question NOTHING cant do NOTHING for you if you cant ask or voice your opinion at a mtg or anywhere but a msg forum just like EVERY other coon hunter in the state of mn except for about 8 people wich didnt ask for anyhing,SO EVERYBODY got exactly outa the state assoc what THEY asked for, theres 4 officers and MANY state members kinda hard for 4 people to carry all the wrk read everybodys minds and put everything on without HELP! If yall wanna talk bout why nothings bein done bout the conibears im pretty sure if yall are half as smart as you think you are youll be able to figure it out,im done bustin my ass to try to help a bunch of people who think they need to eat off a gold plate at others expense!
