In the 6 states I have attended UKC events in...I don't think I ever seen anybody that was john q public show up, even at the fairgrounds. Most those that didn't hunt were parents, husbands, wives, or kids there with the people hunting.

The mass majority were held on private property.

It was written about, Rules do not trump written state law. So you get into the part that you need rules to get win when dog cannot get it on it's own . You get into it even deeper when you have a scorecard packer that thinks they know even more than MOH's .

well i will tell you all. NOONE on here scares me one bit. the point i have been trying to make is unless the rules are changed i dont care how many ccp anyone has according to the rules they are breaking the rules. if ukc puts it in the bloodlines advisor section yes i will be satisfied, if that is your question.

if your not scared then why are you making such a big issue about it..

the first time you scratch someone ,your going to have more problems than you got now,,

you seem to have trouble reading anything you dont like.
so print this out below and read till you understand it,

"todd posted it so it is law"

even if you dont have it on your scorecard ,print it out and you can put it with your rulebook and you will know the ukc rule on this issue..

United Kennel Club respects, defends and even encourages your right to lawful concealed carry. We have no restrictions towards lawful concealed carry. Our no guns policy is primarily directed towards 1) gun trading on the grounds during an event 2) open carry on casts 3) unlawful carry at any time 4) to a lesser degree having rifles in vehicles on a cast. We don't go so far as to search trucks but would take action against illegal transport because it could jeopardize the issue of state permits to conduct nite hunts.

Come one, he's had it posted SEVERAL times. He's just NOT going to get it no matter how many pictures are drawn. This is a hopeless case.

Just be glad we don't have to deal w such lunacy in person. I'm glad the few idiots around here are smarter than that, even though they aren't smart enough for anybody to allow them to judge a cast.

Just another point proven why we need MOH and hunt directors.

Don't know. He SAID he's not an idiot...

I also mentioned who Todd is in a post or two.

My guess is he knows and just doesn't care. Too busy repeating "not in the rule book, not in the rule book, not in the rule book".

Hope all this over stimulation of the brain didn't cause him to start banging his head on the table too. Poor guy needs all the cells he has and then some as it is.

yes i know todd, and this is is no offence to him or anyother person at ukc,but i also know that unless the rules are written in either the rule book, the scorecard, or in the bloodlines advisor column, it doesnt matter what todd or anyone else has to say on this message board because it states nowhere in any literature from ukc that the the message board it to be used as an official interpratation of the rules in any shap or form. and untill it is i am afraid that there will be posts like this.

if either of you are moh and a question comes in to you from a cast having to do with a cast member having a concealed handgun with a ccp, and you say " well todd put it on the message board that it is ok so the question is overruled" well i got a feeling that you wont be no moh for much longer.. for as the rules state (as of right now) no guns allowed then you too can be held responsible for not upholding the rules as they are written by ukc.

guys, i am not an idiot, and i do know the rules, and this seems to have gotten a little out of hand but untill the rules are changed i dont care if you are an fbi agent, secret service or someone with a ccp. if you want to compete in the hunts i sugest that you just leave your guns at home or you take the risk of getting scratched. you keep saying use common sense, well common sense tells me if it is in the rules that guns are absolutely not allowed well you are breaking the rules........

CC the rules also state that they are subject to change and be interpreted by UKC at any time.

Todd is their spokesperson the same as Allen and what those two say goes because UKC has given them that power/right.

That is spelled out in the current rule book/advisor so yes it is in there. Not the actual concealed carry question, but the fact that what Todd and Allen say is the way it is and that UKC can change/interpret the rules at any time.

It's no different than the fact that the rule actually says that to have the option to release your dog when one is treed another has to be on trail. It plainly says that but it is UKC's official position that it really means a dog loose competing for strike and a dog doesn't have to be struck in. The actual rule says one thing, the official interpretation is actually the opposite.

This is no different. It is UKC's official position that they honor concealed carry. That's all it takes is Todds word for it to be official because of their position/precedent and the way the rules/rulebook is worded.

rip, i do agree with you and i understand what you said. all i have been saying from the start is it needs to be put into the bloodlines advisor column. i do know the inherit powers of ukc, and i am glad they have them. all i have been stating is that this message is in no way an official medium between ukc and the hunters that hunt in the hunts. thank you mike

the bloodline advisor is no different than this ukc chatboard,
not everybody gets the bloodlines book,,
so when todd or alan answer something on here ,
its no different than if posted in bloodlines,,
their word is last say weither it be in some ukc book or UKC website,

both are ukc information channels

i'm sure if you scratch someone for haveing a legal ccp and they are not flashing their gun,,,

i'm more than sure you will be the one in the middle of a law suit and ukc wont be backing you and your moh will be history.....
