I wasn,t able to go the night I had planed to hunt Ruger, I did hunt Shelly in a hunt last night in Tull, AR. Drew out with three walker dogs, Shelly was the only dog in the cast that did not have minus points, just did not see a coon, all I needed was a part of a coon and she would have won it, just didn,t happen, Planning on going to Gill, AR. next weekend to try it again, there was a pkc walker dog n the cast that was a tree guarder but he was light broke, you could here him but couldnt catch him, after the first tree nothing in the cast would tree with him.........Gerald

Good job Gerald! A dog has no chance to win if it doesn't get in the hunts so you did your job even if things didn't turn out exactly like you wanted. Keep up the good work and hopefully you fare better next time.

Gill AR. hunt last night, drew a 3dog cast a walker , and a blue male, first cut shelly split treed from the walker 25 yards shelly,s tree was circled big nest in it, the walkers tree was slick, the blue male left the tree both of them got minused, 2nd cut, 3 way split treed, walkers tree was slick, blue male had a opossum, shelly had huge oak with a big whole running up through it, circle again that ended the hunt.

When our dogs don't draw minus it really helps. A few years back when we finished Tonto it took five casts. The thing I was most happy about was that he didn't draw a single minus point in the five casts. When we got into grandnight at some of the larger hunts we had a couple go exactly like your last cast. We had several casts where the other dogs minused out and he didn't draw a minus point. We just couldn't find the coon due to vines and holes. That is a good sign for you and will eventually equal wins. Keep her going. Good Luck.

These pups are 7 months old, mr Johnson of Dermont, AR. has a female that cant be bought, he was a walker man, bought this pup from me for his son and he is hooked on her, he said he brought a coon home when she was just 3 months old and she pounced on it like she was 2 years old, he said she is spitfire and keeps the house cats up a tree,
I have a male and female here we kept, both will tree a squirel AND hammer on it every breath, as well as a coon drag, I am excited about the future.......... Gerald
