Below is my Joe pup born in November 2011 from the Joe X Little Lace cross. Started hunting this pup by herself right before season and she took right off. Hunted her primarily by herself all season and put her with a few nice local dogs in the latter part of the season.
This little female will get deep, lonely and sitting under ricky about every time you unsnap her. She doesn't care if other dogs are treed 10 feet or 1 mile away. Doesn't care if other dogs are running trash or sitting in the box. I've put this little female in about every situation I can think of and the end result is always the same. She will be sitting deep by herself with ole ricky looking down at you.
To test the amount of pressure this pup will take, I've shot coon out to other dogs while she was split treed, shook vines and blown squallers. When this puppy is parked under ole ricky, she is there until you snap her up.
In all the years I've hunted and all the pups I've started I have never seen a pup with this kind of potential and coon treeing ability at such a young age.
This April will be her hunt debut. I would like to get another month or two of hunting on her before I put her in the events. I'm sure she will do her share of winning in the future.
