The coon are just a little bigger up here its hard to hide a 30 pounder. We'll get her finished....
Katie is in heat. So I'm shut down with her for a bit. We have been having some real good cornfield races. She is really coming into her own lately. We take other dogs one night and tree 2 or 3. We take Katie the next and we tree 6. She is just a coon treeing son of a gun. This coon season is gunna really be fun.....................Jon

Tim, We really enjoyed our trip this weekend. We appreciate you and Paul allowing us to stay at the bunkhouse. I really wanted to go hunting with you but time didn't allow. Our Joker ( Joker x Mindy) is a real firecracker. He is not not afraid of anything. He is really a good look'n little sucker too. He's got a long bawl mouth for now. Time will tell how he works in the woods. One thing is for sure he will punch a hole in the dark and get gone right now. He is not sure where he's going but he's not worried about getting lost...... May have to start putting the tracking collar on him. Picked him up yesterday with the ATV about a 3/4 mile from the house. He was by himself and hunt'n.........Jon

Roy,
Talked to UKC and got everything fixed, the problem was that the Master of Hounds transposed two numbers in his UKC Number, also there had been a formal complaint filed that held up the results( the complaint did not apply to Smoke and even if the guy won his complaint he still would not have enough points to beat Smoke, the best that he could have done was second). UKC said that he could be hunted as a NT CH..........Tim

Thanks Tim, I might not be there in time for the show but will be in time for the hunt.
Been watching the weather and it still may be a hot one, the cool front may not push down this way until late saturday night into sunday morning. Bring lots of water. If the hunt time is long enough we should be able to tree some after 2:00 in the morning, they are running late.

Just got home from the RQE at Clinton, Mo. Ruby qualified and finished to GR NT CH, A big Thank You to Johnny Yoder for handling her for me.

Roy Clifton also qualified NT CH PR Mad Dog MO. Smoke. This was Roys first time hunting Smoke in a hunt and he did well. Keep up the good work .........Tim
