To the team of Dan & "Patch" for winnin grands champions at the Wisconsin state Championship yesterday! Also for winning King of the show & gettin oh so close to winnin the State Champion title! Sorry ! LOL!!

These family rivalry's are one aspect of this sport that keep's us fueled & comin back.

I been losin more to them than winnin which is what it's all about for me. "BUT", my female collection that I'm quite proud of is coming of age. Them & I are gona be spendin some time in the timber, amono amono, chasin baby coon's & their momma's.

We bred "Drum" back to "Bum", {"Patch" & "Moe"}a couple weeks ago. Really really hopin for some females. Already a wrestlin match over the lil shavers among the family.

Thanks Heather! We are deffinately lookin forward to them. Unfortunately so far she has had small litters but as long as they are healthy & give us a couple options we'll be finer than a frog hair split four ways!

Dang gum it,looks like I'm gona hav'ta have another pup or two in the cave this coming winter !

Jessica, I do beleive they would be a pretty sweet pair together no doubt! As of now we are plannin the trip so maybe we can give it a go? I don't think their littermates would mind one bit losing or winning over their littermates !

Thing is from what I've seen,any of them could win at any time. I also very much like what is bein brought to the table in the nocturnal department. Ever gets back below 100 degree's here we're gettin after the experience part.

I can see "Grace" as bein one of the top contributers to OUR breed in the total package department. I was told when describing "Carly's" huntin style that I was describing "Grace". To me the breed needs all of them kind we can get.

My description of true "Dual Purpose" models. I have a "Popper" daughter & a granddaughter via "Legend" & "Six Pack" that I really really like. Takes more than one to tango but just sayin.

Lookin forward to minglin some gene's!

I think they'll make a pretty pair Russ! And I agree...I'm pleased with both of mine. A few show judges have overlooked Coe because of his color, and in the past I would have passed on him because of it as well. But he's an awesome mover, and looks like a hound should, to me! Don't like the other brother's conformation as much, but he's a pretty hound and seems to be a little more interested in the hunting aspect than Coe. I'll be working on getting them started this summer, when it isn't too terribly hot (which hasn't been often lately). Glad to hear Carly is doing well for you, and that things are going well with the others at your place!
