Thunder Kennels

Hunted for the 5th night in a row last night (going for 6 tonight) with good friends David and Kyle ..After treeing 4 we went deep in state round to find Kyles dog some 35 to 40 feet up tree. What a scare..He findly came down on his own..Does not get any better great night and good friends...Loading up Smoke and heading for Eric Evans tonight...hope these old legs can keep up....

Rory, Cold with a dusting of the snow stuff....weather was good last week hunted every night...Took last night off 22 degrees when I got home from work and wind a blowing...Got to get back at it tonight its going to be cold again but hope the wind dies down..Got a home ukc hunt this weekend...Hows things your way......Larry

Them hounds of yours continue to shine year after year. I have a little gyp out of Gun and Spooky. She is very small which is out of character for your line of hounds, but what she lacks in size I believe she will make up with heart. Flo has really good actions and for a lack of better term (personality) she is gonna be really quick and has a big mouth for her size . I expect good things from her in times to come. Just wanted to drop you a line or two and let ya know how pleased I am with my Gun pup at this time and express my appreciation for your continued efforts to better our breed. I will get some pictures of my little gal on here for ya soon. Take care

Thunder River Reba

Bought a female pup first week of March (Top Gun X Big River Spooky). Big male dog mouth. No reverse. Took her huntin first night didn't expect much got her off tree out of hearing. Same way every time don't matter how rough or how deep the water she's gone with old dog even while friends young dog comes back. Running loose on the farm now til she figures out what it's all about. Mike

Hey Larry. Out of my all grand Dottie female and Top Gun I kept a male pup. Just finished him into Nite ch at 11 mo. He is a natural. Looks like his daddy. Take Gun's picture and look at it, thats what Style looks like. Same conformation, color, size, same head and similar tree style to Gun. Style has a loud chop mouth and is a good tree dog. He has treed over 50 coons by himself at 11 mo. old. Randal Powell has a littermate to him.

Gun Pups

Larry glad to see the Gun Pups are showing up good in the hunts. I read your PM. Seems to to be a few naturals in the Gun and Jess litter. Also great that different crosses are producing Nite Ch. Hope to have a World to World Nt Ch before the end of the summer.

Thanks Eric. It was pretty cool us 3 sitting there all getting hardware. Just like we planned it. Should have heard all the flack Larry was giving you in the way home not texting him back after you said you and Rico would be out all night. Haha.

That's ok I texted him back at two twenty seven am,and no response,made my last drop about 4:30 or so still no response ,got on the conf..before I ate breakfast and took a nap about 6:30 still didn't hear from him till 12:30 today, I think i need to get larry back out with me for couple long nights of hunting ,I think he has been getting to much sleep!! Haha
