V had a BLAST as always and Rex is just what you said and did make the trip that much more interesting.

The frosting on my cake was gettin to see the old man go. I've hunted with alot of the dog in Oppys 3 gen and a pile of his kids and grand kids and now can add him to the list. The old dog still has what it takes to get a coon treed. Cut him twice with a son a grandson and daughter he got off by himself and got it done. We had to drive both times to get him and saw eyes in both trees. 12 yrs old and have no doubt the old man could still win at the comp level.

THE PLEASURE WAS ALL MINE. I TRULY ENJOYED ALL ASPECTS OF OUR HUNT LAST WEEKEND AND AM BLESSED WITH AN OLD HOUND THAT IS IN GREAT CONDITION FOR HIS AGE. GETTIN SOME COONS TREED WITH HIM AND HIS KIN WAS A BLAST. ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE.

ME, BUCK AND PINNER GITR' ON THE CAMERA MADE A COUPLE DROPS BEFORE THE WEATHER SET IN LAST NIGHT. BUCK HAD BUD AND I HAD THE JEB DOG OUT OF GAUGE AND SAGE. THEY RAN THE GUTS OUTA THESE TWO COON DOWN ON RUSHCREEK, THEY SPLIT UP A COUPLE TIMES AND CAME BACK TOGETHER TO GET TREED WITH IN 10-15 YARDS OF EACH OTHER AND BOTH HAD THEIR COON. JEB HAD A BIG BOAR AND BUD A SOW. BUDS COON WAS SOAKIN WET 4 SHE HAD TAKEN TO THE WATER SOMEWHERE DOWN IN THERE TO TRY AND SHAKE HIM. WE SAT ON A HILLTOP AND LISTENED TO THAT RACE. PRETTY SWEET. WE MOVED TO ANOTHER SPOT AND THEY GOT IN THERE 900 AND WAS TREED ON A BIG OAK HOLLOW WITH GROUND HOLES AND SAPLINGS AND SMALLER TREES GOING UP IN IT. DIDN'T SEE HIM BUT BETTIN HE WAS HOME. WIND WAS ROLLIN AND STARTIN TO SNOW ABOUT 1:00 AM WE CALLED IT AN EVENING. THANKS PINNER FOR RUNNIN THE CAMERA AND HANDLIN A DOG NOW AND THEN. <v>

I just bought a female out of Rushcreek Spit Wad and Rushcreek Sage from Clay Lautzenhizer. I hunted her for the third time last night. It happened to be in a registered UKC cast . She looked outstanding. She had 575 plus, no minus. She tied with a nice walker female but the walker female had a circle tree. Sage AKA SKANK had first strike but it got to raining and she trailed out of hearing so we called timeout. By the Garmin she was over 800 yards away so we drove around to the next road. She was treed in a den tree. We turned loose with 9 minutes left but time ran out. 10 minutes after the hunt she treed. We walked over 500 yards into her and she had 2 coons in that tree.she was in heat when I picked her up at the Grand American so needless to say I am just now getting to really hunt her. I LOVE her to death. I was curious how her litter mates are doing?

THAT WAS A GOOD CROSS, EVERY ONE OF THEM THAT GOT HUNTED ARE TREEING COONS. THERE WERE 4 FEMALES, YOURS, NTCH.GRCH. SAGE'S RUSHCREEK LEXI THAT FELL OUT OF A TREE AND WAS KILLED, RUSHCREEK STICKER AND STEVE COPLEN IN FLORIDA HAS A FEMALE. THERE IS A MALE IN IOWA THAT IS LIKE THE REST FROM THE LITTER AND ONE MALE THAT DISAPPEARED WHILE RUNNING LOOSE. WE REALLY LIKE BOTH PARENTS OF THIS LITTER. THEY ARE PICTURED BELOW. She impressed the guy hunting the walker so much he wants to get a pup out of her when I breed her. I told him I am gonna convert him over to the BLUE DOGS! Really pleased with Sage AKA SKANK. I am taking her to a hunt this Friday and Saturday night. Gonna send in her entry for Southeastern TREEING Walker Days too. Then the BLUETICK Reunion and then BLUETICK Days. Sage AKA SKANK looks a lot like her mother. Really , Really like her. When she trees you will see a set of eyes!

THAT IS AWESOME CRAIG. THAT IS ONE THING THAT WE HAVE ALWAYS DEMANDED IN THE DOGS AND KEPT FOCUSED ON THAT WHEN PLANNING A CROSS. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS IF THEY DON'T HAVE A COON.
