Mr. Adkins I just happened to see this and its been many years ago
but I had litter mate to your Henry dog that was a real good hound.
Never could break him off deer but he could run a coon just as good
as he could a deer.Know I probably whipped and shocked him when
I shouldn't have . Haven't had hounds since 96 , but the last one I
had was off little Mack and a female off this dog. I reckon we would
be referred to as oldtimers Hang in there. Dudley Davis

Last on I had was off "PR" Vaughn Ark. Blue Buck and "PR" Thompson's Lula Bell. It was in 1976 and made the best dog I ever owned. Would not quit and would not miss. Thanks, Rex Name was "PR" Vaughn Blue Kip and Grand everything. Best of all he was a coondog deluxe.

When I look at a set of Vaughn & Arkie papers, I look for ol' Bowser. Everything I'm feeding goes back to him, for good reason.

On one of my trips to Ken G's, Hillbillie got loose and tried to get into my dogbox. Dang-it, if I would have had just a few more minutes...he would be in Virginia now!!!

Steve, I love seeing those old pictures. I have a few around here that my Dad had...mostly of Kelly Bragg. I get them out from time to time just to look! Keep them coming!

its been a rough 10 days up here at my place.last week my vaughns bluedog judy,who was 2 days from whelping,ate her way through her pen fence and took off for the swamp and hasnt been seen only once the next day and not again.we have checked everywhere.no luck.either she got picked up or the coyotes in that swamp got her.2 nights ago my coolwater blue minnie got hit and killed by a car while hunting.i wasnt more than 200 hundred yards away from where i found her and never heard a thing.murphys law strikes again.

need to pop in at any local dog shelters around you... some of those idiots won't return hunting dogs, they would rather kill em pups and all than have you hunt... also watch the local papers for pups in 6-8 weeks you never know.....
