Thunder Kennels

Man it was sure fun to get out thursday night went down to good friends Eric Evans and hunted on the snow from 7pm to 130am made 5-6 dens, 1 nest, 1 barn, and 3 on the outside...action packed night he took Dual Gr Ch Main St Zoey and I took Gun Smoke. They worked well together and did a fine job..Thanks Eric

Larry,

Nice to hear that someone else made a "barn" tree, I did the same thing a couple of nights ago with Bawl and Ringo. Thought they had started trying to tree some dairy cows. (ha!) Hunted Bawl in his first PKC a few nights back, won the cast with 350 plus no minus, he split on the first drop and had one 200 yards from the other three in the cast. Have not put him in a Nite Ch. cast sinse finishing him out, may wait till next month to start those. Been hunting Randall's Ringo dog in PKC, so far he has won money in 3 of the first 4 cast I have put him in. Super nice hound, very loud. My goal is to get both of them qualified for the UKC world and the PKC Super Stakes.
Thanks Eric for the video of Smoke and Zoey, was not sure when Larry was ever going to post one of him again. Now my wife can stop asking, what does he look like all grown up. Good Luck Guys!

Travis I know you heard the old saying old dogs new tricks...Well I have spent another 2 hours on this computer and it will not let me even pull up these videos...real player installed...quick time installed and nothing....I'll just hunt these dogs and let someone else post it.....ha...Larry

I cant say much, Randall has to post mine for me. I am not that old just not that smart. (ha) That blue pup that Eric has out of Bo is as sharp as they come. Would love to have a female that color out of the same cross, is there any available?

Hey Travis that's not my pup out of Bo and zoey that is David Riley I may have his last name spelled wrong he goes by paint creek on here that pup is top notch looker and couldn't be in a better man's hands,david is a great guy!!!!

Travis, Are you comming to s.e.d. with Bawl ???? I'm riding with Eric we are pulling pop up...need to get photo of the Two...I'm going to be layed up for a few weeks and this will be Smoke's 1st hunt....Been hunting with Eric and treeing coons in the snow thursday and saturday night....Hope to see you there...Larry

The plan is to hunt Bawl at Southern English Days and Randall may meet us there and hunt Ringo. The picture sounds great, we need to hunt him and Gun together one night and get a one of them on each side of the tree. Folks who have seen both of them in person, say they look like mirror images of each other. This cross (Gun X River Bottoms Midnight Lady) is about to start making a "big bang" in the hunts. It is about time for Lady to be in heat again, guys that want some of this fun we are having need to call Randall Powell now to book one of them. Would not suprise me to see one of them place at S.E.D. Good Luck.

Travis,.....Smoke likes these barns...I think he wants to get in where its warm....He put another in barn last night..We did manage to bush a few on the outside last night and going to try again tonight....Supposed to go down to 18 degrees and big moon...Eric has some great hunting and Smoke and his Dual Grand Main St. Zoey team up good together....Larry

My thanks to good friend Eric Evans for a great weekend of hunting....We hunted thursday,saturday, and sunday...It was in the 20's full moon and hunted on ice and snow but could get around well.. We looked at 20 some trees, 2 barns and one hole..Zoey and Smoke acted like they been raised together..Thanks again Eric......................Larry

Gun Fire Jess Again

Hey Larry just to let you know that another Gun and Jess Pup is doing it right. She is being hunted in Va. Hunts good never comes back. Trees good. Coon Crazy. I will make a video when I get her back home in another month. She is a keeper.

This pup is the right everything. Does not matter if she is green

Larry, I have one that is that color you like.......................... I put Bawl in his first Nite Ch. hunt last night....He Won IT! High scoring dog of the hunt. 4 more to go!!!!!!!! Hope you get better soon so you can get smoke to the woods! He sounds like he has a ton of potential! I remember seeing him last year at SED and how as just a puppy he acted well above his puppy age with an intelligent calm demeanor! If you make it to SED this year good luck and I hope Smoke gives you a good showing!
I know we are waiting for lady to come in heat, but really i wish she would hurry up!! Ha.
