Made a mad dash up to Ed's. With Terry Tucker piloting the Geo Tracker, Ed, Brett, Mark and Mathew Gibson and I managed to all fit in for a bumpy ride thru the Hoag Road Swamp. I wore Reeboks instead of hip boots so I never left the truck. I left there at 4pm yesterday with snow and 10 degrees and got in here at 7:30am this morning. Glad to make the trip but glad to be home as well. Had a great time!

This years Winter Classic was a lot of fun. Made all the more fun by Cary Costlow and his Texas crew, Brad and Matt along with their wild bunch of young cow boys and Keith Tate and family. Hunted both nights and never had a bad word from any of the cast members.

6 Again is still only at 20 per cent reproduction and I hope that when all is said and done his percentage will end up higher. I know there are people who do not place much value on those figures but it is hard to find higher out there unless it is a female.

We are going to find out just how good Jet 10 will cross on 6 Again's daughters and grand daughters. Hoping for pups from 3 litter mate females out of 6 Again X Tree Slammin Lady this year. The All Jazzed Up female is one of them and she is pregnant from Jet 10 now.

Received news yesterday that Cary Costlow picked up champion wins on the bench and in the night hunt with Delta (6 Again X Gr Nt Ch Pounding Blue Birdy). This moves Delta steps closer to being a Dual Grand Champion. Cory owns Delta's litter mate Hope too.

Henry Miller let me know when Bell starts showing and we are going to make sure we get this done this time around.

Joe Rember, of Smokey River Dancer fame and Ch Blue Bio Wild N Blue Jet got another champion win this weekend. Jet (Rejet X Ch Nt Ch Wild N Blue Hooker) has a 1st place UKC. With any luck he will be a Dual Champion soon.

Keith Tate-just keep those videos coming. Keith sent me one last night of Gr Ch Nt Ch Blue Bio Blue Jet II (Rejet X Hope). Predicting good things for Jet and Keith.

Cory Carlson had an ultra sound ran on All Jazzed Up and the results show she is going to have a bunch of Jet 10 pups-very good news!

Joe and Jet won another 1st place at Paris, Tx. last night. That makes two UKC 1st. One more win will make a step on the ladder for this pair on their way to Dual Grand!

Brad Henson-I see where you want to show him at Bluetick Days. I firmly believe he is the best looking thing that I have ever owned. Few are capable of winning it all in the woods and on the bench. I have heard for years that it does not cost any more to feed a pretty one than it does an ugly one.

Keith -keep those videos of Jet II coming. I know you enjoyed yourself on the last one you sent because the 4 wheeler is 20 feet from the tree.

Joe in SC-how bout a video of the Jet pup from Jet II X I Love Lucy you are hunting? We have high hopes for this one.

Arrived back here early morning from a trip to Clarksville, Tn.- Bred a female to Jet 10 out of the Appel's Booming Jet and off a Gauge bred female from Mn.-will post more details later on the Jet 10 thread. She has 4 wins toward grand night and is one good looking heifer.

Congrats to Cary and Joe on their second 1st place win with Blue Bio Wild N Blue Jet (Rejet X Hooker). Pay attention Kieth Tate-they are going to catch you and Jet II.

Raymone Poole called today saying his Busy Bee(DL Gr Rejet x DL Gr Mayflower was having puppies-6 so far with more to come and marked up real pretty. He and Bear have been on a tear in the last year or so but like me have been under the weather of late. Glad you are feeling better and thanks for the call.

Lots of calls of all kind lately-most about Jet 10. There are 3 daughters of 6 Again that we hope to get pups from as well as Mayflower (5 Again x Gr Nt Blue Bio Blue Flower-dam of 6 Again).

I appreciate the job so many people have done with their 6 Again off spring. So nice to see the results from these next generations. Do intend for this bunch to make even more history.

The Jet V x I Love Lucy litter are generating a good deal of interest. Ed called to say his female has treed one by herself and split treed from Lady and had a coon. Scott Phillips says the one at his house is acting good, the two here are and Cory really likes his. Future will tell.

Henry Miller,s Quail Creek Bell female picked up another Nt Ch win. Bell is out of Rejet X Hope. She is due in soon and I for one hope we can get that long awaited litter from her and Jet 10. Continued good luck to you with her Henry.

Jet 10 has been in 3 bench shows and got best of show in all 3. He did ok considering "he ain't no plywood dog!" With time he should be dual grand.

Cary Costlow's Delta, a littermate to Hope, picked up another Nt Ch win also-gives her 3 if I am right. She is bred back to Rejet. Cary and I recently completed a deal that sent Jet II and Blue Bio Wild N Blue Jet to him. Both these dogs off Rejet should end up dual grands.

Raymone Poole has bred his Bear to Busy Bee (Dual Gr Rejet X Dual Gr Mayflower). Bear is out of Iron Will, litter mate to Jet 7. I hope to end up with one of these-they sure are pretty.

There have been a lot of calls from people wanting pups and young dogs. Several crosses have been planned and a few made-so there should be some pups available and or young dogs pretty soon. Ed has his Lady II bred back to Jet 10. Cory Carlson is making plans for Gr Nt Ch Joleen (10's dam) to be bred back to Jet 9. Cory is also talking about Dual Gr Ch I Love Lucy and Gr Nt Ch All Jazzed Up-both are due in soon. Lucy has a litter from Jet V about 6 months old we are working with right now. Scott Phillips is considering who he will cross his Nt Ch Hooker and Nt Ch Maddy to. Cary Costlow has litters on the way-we hope and is pondering who to breed Ch Nt Ch Blue Bio Wild N Blue Jet to.

We are not being stingy, we appreciate the interest and hope to put the very best line bred prospects in you good hunters hands. The dogs are treeing coons, winning in the hunts and shows and should be able to reproduce offspring of quality as well. There is a collective effort here with respect for the past, focus on the present with hope for the future. Time will tell!

Keep up the good work guys. It's paying off with the hounds the jet line has been producing. I wouldn't mind getting a jet 6 female bred to White Boy but they're hard to come by. Wish y'all the best and continued success with the breedings. We need it and the Bluetick breed needs it. I've not yet hunted with 10 but from what I've seen in the videos he is a very nice tree dog.

Reporting wins by Ch Nt Ch Outcross Diamond W Delta Dash (6 Again X Gr Nt Ch Pounding Blue Birdy) is getting to be a regular habit that I am finding easy to get use to. Cary Costlow and Company picked up another win, which means one more to go for grand night champion. Plans are to pick up the needed wins for grand on the bench too. Sure am glad to see this happening.

Kieth Tate called telling me about his hunts with Jet II and just catching up in general. We are both wishing good luck to Brad Henson with the male he is hunting out of Jet V he got from the Robbins. Mackie Manns is also hunting one. Ed had a 6 month old female from Jet V and I Love Lucy that has split treed with the coon and prefers to be alone. I made sure she is not to lonely and I have full intentions of her and I being best buddies.

Seeing people have success with generation after generation of their dogs is very gratifying to me. Those feelings are doubled up if they are good people with dogs you had a little bit of connection to. John Steber is one such individual. John picked a male pup out from 6 Again and Becky (Hillbilly x Lady)-Ch Nt Ch Steber Smiths Blue Buzzard, who produced Dual Grand Ch Stebers Mighty Lonesome. Now John and Ch Nt Ch Stebers Mighty Lonesome II are one win away from Grand Night Champion. Good things happen to good people-continued good luck to you John!

Last night Cary Costlow's female won her all important 5th night champion hunt. Ch Gr Nt Ch Outcross Diamond W Delta Dash is out of Gr Nt Ch Mead's Blue Jet 6 Again and Gr Nt Ch Pounding Blue Birdy. Cary also owns Delta's littermate sister Mead's Blue Hope. Congratulations to Cary and everyone associated with finishing Delta out. 6 Again's reproduction percentage remains at 20% There is still "hope" out there that a couple more dogs will finish to Nt Ch out of him and raise that percentage. Ed says to this day if 6 Again had lived longer he would have surpassed Jet V. Cary keep the good news coming.

Curtis Todd messaged me today with info that the female in Minnesota from Whip X Joleen had won a 1st and a 2nd and that the Evil dog from the same cross is also in the hunt to be finished to Nt Ch soon. Joleen is the dam of Jet 10, is owned by Cory Carlson and I, is listed at 7th on the current reproducer's list. She was also bred to Rejet and this cross is proving to be very special. Cory will be after the hunts with his Abby female and Cary Costlow has a male called Cruze who he says cannot be bought! Good news to these ears. Cary recently purchased a female from the same cross as Joleen (Boomer X Ruby) and Coonhound Bloodlines ran a story on Alice from this cross. She is currently listed at #2 on the list. It remains to be seen if anything is going to get anywhere close to Joleen in terms of QUALITY. Females that reproduce like her are extremely rare.

This was a busy past couple of weekends with the 10 pup Ed Sturm's Souix Valley Jack winning, John's wins with Lonesome II, Rejet's Blue Bio Wild N Blue Jet getting a NT Ch win and Delta finishing to Grand Night Champion and now Curtis telling me about Joleen's female's wins. Jet 10 did OK to by winning an RQE and his cast both nights at the Dave Dean Hunt in Michigan. Keep up the good work!
