Got several good reports on pups this week. The two 4month olds off Toby x Bee seem to be progressing nicely. One was sent to a training facility and the other is showing the traits we have come to expect. Both owners seem very happy. It is exciting to get pup reports. Hope all our friends are well.

I am so glad to see so much mad dog blood coming into the area. It is exciting knowing I will have so many options to breed to in the future. I have had three calls this week from people here wanting mad dog pups or actually getting some. Putting theses hounds in the hunts has really making them popular it seems. We made it home finally. Ha Ha! We really enjoyed the trip. The fellowship was the best. Hopefully we can get up soon again.

There is a Smoke pup here in Alabama for sale. I am told he is treeing easy coon on his own. He is in Andalusia AL. The phone number is 334-406-3315. He is 10 months old I think. Give him a call and he can fill you in. He should make a good one.

Just got this report from a young hound:

"Figured I'd give you an update on him. An oh yea he treed his first coon at 7 months and has tree a many of them buy his self now, An I haven't hunted him aroud any buckets so he's had to work for them! He will he in the comp hunts after turkey season"

That is another good one. Thanks to all the hard work in these hounds. The video and pics he sent were fun to watch.

Sometimes we feel like we have. Every time I start to get some time something else comes up.

Went to our home club Midstate Coonhunters Association. Toby picked up a a ch bench win and a 1st place registered in the water race. That makes him a triple champion. We are very proud of Toby. He always gives us a chance to win in spite of us. He has three ch wins on the bench now. We still have the overall goal of finishing him to quad grand. We hope all our friends and team are doing well. Just wanted to keep you guys posted.

Congradulations to Ashley Cannon and her nice smokey river blue female. She won the champion in the water race and always gives Toby all he wants when she races him. It is usually a tough call. Glad they were in two divisions today.

Hey havent talked to you for awhile amd was wondering if you guys are going to make the trip to Lagrange. I figured if you did we would draw out together both nights like we did two years ago. LOL
Just wondering how you guys are and if I will get to see you in Lagrange.
Timmy and I have a couple of young dogs out of Smoke that we will be takeing. The youngest is 8 months old and comming on strong in the timber. Hope we can make it up there on thur. night to hunt young guns. Named him Mad Dog Smoke's Real Deal. He looks to be the next stud in the Mad Dog Ks. kennels. He has a ways to go but wow does he have a big motor and is a tree screamer.

At this time we are not planning on coming up. Next week is our last week of baseball. Sounds like those young hounds are coming along nicely. We are pulling for the team at nationals!


Got three pup reports yesterday. I have learned that all three pups from the Toby x Bee littler are either treeing their own wild coon or released coon. The owners seem very pleased and it is always a nice feeling to get good pup reports. Thanks to Robbie, Tim, Paul, Dave Dean, the team and the pup owners for their hard work. It's in the blood.
