Just got off the phone with my nephew.
Queen turned the corner and is doing real good. Talk about a late bloomer. lol I sure am glad to hear that. She started to go from start to finish. He is very happy with her now especially that she doesnt have to live as a pet. I guess if you look at it in weeks, it didnt take too long but having her sit on a chain during off season, it took a long time. I figure hounds were born to hunt and sooner or later, that has to kick in. Its just most people wont wait that long. I do and so does my nephew and his wife. With 2 young kids who love dogs, they cant go and cull because the kids love the dogs. Id say Queen came to the right place and got a chance. What do you think buddy? lol I never had it in me to cull, and keep hunting the dog till they turn out at their pace. In the long run it seems to always work out though. You had said her littermates were late bloomers. I cant remember if this was her second summer or 3rd. I believe second? Take care
