we are getting ready to go down to Claremont for U. S. Days in a couple of hours. Sure glad to see this heat drop for a couple of days before going back up into the mid 90s. Maybe the guys will have some nights of decent hunting for U. S. days. Looking forward to meeting some new friends and revisiting some old ones. We plan on talking some good hunts with them. Hope u have a good time .Wish we could have made it down,may be next year we want have any pups at this time & will be able to come down we were looking forward to coming but these pups changed everything with all the heat & showers poping up theres just no way u could leave a fan on them.

See I should have paid u to hunt Sherman down there for me, heck a kid can handle him all u need to do is walk the way he gets treed & plus it because there a good chance you will look at him unless hes in a Den.

Your pup is growing really nice they sure are getting fat.

This gip is off the 2nd cross off Light'in they tell me she can flat tree a coon & is a TREEDOG & I heard her mouth & its outstanding hope to have her in our kennel before to long to cross back on one of our Males.

Mr Bryant told us he would give us first chance to own her she is a 1/2 sister to Speed Queen.

Joe Melton told me of some others that were doing good off this cross also.

FRED HAS ONLY BEEN OUT 4-5 TIMES JUST BEEN WAITING ON IT TO COOL OFF THE OTHERNIGHT AT 11:00 IT WAS 91 DEGREES.

CANT EVEN HUNTING ON WATER A MAN MIGHT KILL A DOG & MY OL HEART DONT NEED TO BE OUT THERE WHEN ITS THAT HOT.

HES READY SOON AS IT COOLS DOWN SOME & SO ARE HIS BROTHERS.

THERES ONE LEAVING HERE THAT GOING TO MAKE SOMEONE A STUMP JUMPER I FELL LIKE HE HAS IT ALL FROM A-Z & HE WAS A NATURAL JUST NOT ABLE TO HUNT ALL OF THEM DUE TO MY HEALTH SO I'LL LET SOMEONE ELSE ENJOY RED JED.

hey you got the wood stove full of wood over your way ? man its another hot one here today !!! the way some of these dogs tree we cant hunt them rite now due to the heat.

I talk with my Dad in TN yesterday he was telling me that Charlie Shortridge a ((WELL KNOWN PLOTT MAN)) had came over next to him to hunt with a friend by the name of Freddy Tipton the dogs were treed they started to them she shut up & they couldnt find her the next day Freddy walked in where she had treed & was laying dead with her head still on the bottom of the tree.

Charlie owned the ol Star gip that was the mother of the Plott hound that won the U.K.C WLD.CH.SHIP a few yrs ago he just moved from down the road from me about 5 yrs. ago Im sure she was a ((GOOD ONE)) or Charlie wouldnt not have been feeding her Im sure she got to hot & died before they could get to her.

Thertes NO way Id turn Light'in lose in this heat as hard as he trees. I sure do watch Sherman also he dont let up looking for a frost to cool it down.
