I got to see one of Top Gun's pups this weekend at a hunt. I think it was nine months old. It was out of Murray Ragans female. He was a big beautiful pup and looked a lot like Gun. I'm not sure how he done in the hunt but Murray said he is a good loud tree dog. I have a pup coming out of Gun and Cowles Spooky female. I am sure happy to have got in on that deal! I look forward to working her this spring. If its ok I will post some pictures and updates as she progresses. I am confident she will be a special pup. Hey Travis did you get that mut finished Yet....His brother here got to get out a few nights..Now cold 12 degrees and snow comming tonight....Going to have to go somewhere south to turn him loose for a night...Funny how you want to hunt the most when can't.....I'll just have to retrain him...Do you know Adam Nicley from knoxville ???...been best friends with his dad Charles for years......

Larry, I do not know Mr. Nicely at least not by name only, maybe if I saw him. This old mind is fading fast and the 10 year break I took from hunting did not help either. One of the best things about going back to the hunts has been seeing those folks I thought I had forgotten.
Only got the one first place win on Friday night with Bawl, Saturday had another good hunt with a fun cast, but 2 dens 1 hole and still trailing at the end of the hunt left us with all circle. I am trying hard to get that Nt. Ch. Degree before the Classic next week, we have 2 more hunts local this weekend so wish me luck and pray it stops raining down here or we will have to hunt out of a boat, not sure UKC will allow that. lol
